4.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap the the Brick Store Sweet Sixteen Party. Amber color, with a big, foamy, beige head. The aroma is syrup, caramel, and a lot of juicy, citrusy, and resinous hops. The flavor is not as bitter as I expected. Instead, the strong bitterness is matched with sweetness, leaving a very mellow, delicious flavor. Very heavy body, smooth, velvety mouthfeel, and a warm finish. Overall, this is a stellar beer. Aggressive aroma up front, but the flavor is nearly perfect, and the mouthfeel is outstanding. Highly recommended!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured clear, reddish amber, with a generous tan head and nice lacing all over the glass. Pine and citrus fruit are predominant on the nose but there are some malts and caramel in there too. Taste is bitter and quite hoppy, a bit boozy but very well balanced with malts. Very good, solid beer; highly enjoyable.

Drank this one out of the bottle. Smell of wet grass and bare grains. Smell is earthy, uplifting and sweet in some way. Taste is greatly hoppy, but not the bitterness usually associated with that. Very bitter but in a warm, homey way. Really, really good beer

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The aroma is phenomenal coming through the neck and once poured, does a hop-laden justice to the brew. Citrusy floral, this is nicely adorned and with a rich foundation of malt. Great carbonation, fabulous lacing on the glass and a deep rich, ruby caramel; what a great brew. I was hesitant at first, and passed it by on the shelf multiple times, but I shouldnít have done it. Itís been worth it the whole time. I had no idea.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
1" off white head looks like whipped cream.. tons of lace.. and great retention... The brew is slightly hazy deep orange.
Nose seems a little muted for the name of the beer .. Donít get me wrong, there is alot of stuff going on here, but none really jump out of the glass. Lite citrusy hops and a more than a bit of caramel.. more hoppy fruitiness show as it really warms up.. and the malts help drive the hoppy nose.
Flavor has a much more fruity hops than the nose.. minerally and sorta tropical with lesser citrus.. caramel malts and toasty elements really help the hops push forward... bigger body than expected with a light carbonation... really pretty smooth.. could use a bit more carbonation to make things prance around a bit.
I am really surprised ... the hoppy bitterness was really pretty mellow.. instead it allowed the flavor additions to do the talking... Very tasty.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz bottle date code 9/09/15. Pretty fresh, so Iím confused why this is oxidized already. Plus it has an acetaldehyde issue. Still kinda drinkable, but not pleasant.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle @ home, picked up at Liquor Mart in Boulder. Iím surprised I havenít had this one before. Pours a hazy, deep reddish orange appearance with a tan head. The aroma is oxidized, some pine, bread, light toast, mild citrus. Mouth feel is a little goopy. Dull bitter, piney hops. Light citrus. Some grapefruit. Also a little stale. Note to self: beware of shelfies at Liquor Mart.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
355ml bottle. Reddish pour. Super bitter beer here, the bottle is a few months old but the bitterness has been kept intact. The hopiness si pine and lighter fruits with some citrus, a nice blend and isnít too acidic luckily form the summit.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and snifter served showing a clear, coppery amber color, with a fairly persistent, fingerís width of tan, head foam, and ribbons & spots of lacing. The nose offered juicy esters of pit & tropical fruit, with citrus as grapefruit, and a bit of pine on the back. Medium+ bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste added a pronounced, citrus & rind bitterness, plus tart astringency that lingered into the finish with a bit of malt sweetness. Tasty & assertive throughout.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Big bottle pours out a dark amber topped with a sand head. Nose is toffee caramel sweetness hop resin citrus and some spice. Taste is as the nose with a nice hop combo and a good sweet malt bill to help balance the hop load.
