COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pursuit of Hoppiness was brewed to showcase the brash beauty of American hops: Summit, Simcoe, Chinook and Nuggets at 100 International Bitterness Units (IBU). It was brewed with Idaho 2-Row malted barley and German specialty malts to provide a rich, slightly caramel flavor and bold reddish color. At 22 degrees Plato starting gravity and about 8% alcohol by volume, this is a perfect autumn beer, thick and warming, to be shared and savored on a crisp fall evening.

Bottled. A hazy dark red beer with a huge tan head. The aroma has notes of yeast, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy amber with an off-white head. Lovely tropical fruit melange in the nose. Solid body, sweet fruitiness but everything is in fine balance with the generous hop addition that adds lots of flavour and aroma but not excessive bitterness - just the way I like it! 27111

Bottle, 75cl. A clear, glowing copper colored beer topped by a minimal sized light beige head. The aroma is rather sugary malty at first, soon to be overpowered by piney, citrusy hoppyness. Some lemonpeel. It’s full-bodied, quite effervescent and lightly warming, with flavors of caramel sugary maltyness and a solid dose of citrusy, resiny malts. Lasting finish with bitterness dominating. Some balance brought by the sweetish maltyness. A really pleasant one. A bit sweet maybe, but with hops enough to deal with it. 111126
