From bottle. Pours a deep mahogany with decent tan head. Aroma was sweet with a floral hops. Taste was caramel and an unbalanced sweetness. Has bittering but was way too sweet.

Part of my Piggly Wiggly mixed six from North Charleston. Deep bronze pour with a fluffy head. Nose was papery as fuck, so I reckon this one had been in the pig’s bowels a while. Notes of lemon and toffee in the nose too, but the taste is - whether by design or age at this point - mostly washed out and grassy.

I don’t usually trust APAs. There are too many weak-flavored wheat beers. This was a good risk. I could definitely take more hops, but this contains a good amount of resiny hops flavor. Good balance of sweetness. Full mouthfeel. Recommended for fans of IPAs.

Sample at brewfest. Pours a light orange. Citrus/grapefruit on the tongue, really a nice beer.

Draft pour. Poured a slightly hazy orange color with a small white head. Aroma was weak hops, some light malt sweetness, some watery fruit character. Flavor was light caramel malts, not a whole lot of hop character. Not very good, keg may have been off. Bummer.

Pours clear gold/amber with a medium white head. Aroma is mildly perfumey...earthy tea, mild caramel, and a touch of citrus. Flavor has biscuit and caramel but also some earthy hop notes, citrus, and grass. Mouthfeel is light/medium with a lightly toasty/earthy finish.

355ml bottle from The Beer Cellar. Strong citrus hop aroma fills the nose, sweet and inviting. Bold strong golden colour with a light head that stays a while. The flavour is very strong and resinous in the mouth.

Aroma is hoppy with sweet, grassy notes. Pours golden colored with cloudiness and little head. Taste is hoppy with sweetgrass and some citrus notes.

Citrus aroma and taste with grasses and hay. Plenty of lacing and creamy flotation. Good balance of sweet, tang and bitter.
