3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 douglas88 (3684) - Salt Lake City, USA - JUN 8, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2008 On tap at NABA fest in Idaho Falls 2008. Grand Teton was on its home turf and they put on a nice show. Pours a light amber with a small white head. The aroma was quite sweet, citrus, bready malts, and marmalade. The taste was not that intense, but very good; light hops, some citrus and honey mix together like a breakfast pastry. Pretty nice. I enjoyed this one.

Got this expecting it would be pretty decent based on the ratings...and here I am totally wowed. I think this is my new favorite pale ale. A lovely aroma of floral lemony citrusy goodness had me sniffing for about five minutes. I passed it around to others, and they all agreed it was quite the wonderful aromatic whiff. Pours golden orange with good head retention. Initial mouthfeel and flavors - somewhat thin (docked a point for that), but then some delicious mildly sweet malts and hops in the finish, citrusy bread, aftertaste lasts and lasts. In other news, this is the first beer my 70 year old mother has ever kind of liked. Shocking! I wonder why this fantastic brew is not raved about more often.

Super nose with sweet bananas and light floral hops. Decent color that leaves little lacing on the glass. Fairly sweet and grassy up front with a good balance of hops and malts. Very refreshing sessionable ale.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 badhack (77) - San Jose, California, USA - MAY 10, 2012
A pretty good offering. Has a nice malty backbone and a nice blend of hops, but not the crisp cleanness I’d expect from a pale ale. Still refreshing. Huge amounts of carbonation though.

Decent, but not great. Very smooth, but lack flavors. Nice grassy aroma with hops and citrus notes. Would have like a little more bite...
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Bronzan (63) - Windsor, California, USA - MAY 7, 2012
A pleasantly sweet aroma. Not very bitter, it goes down smooth, possibly event a bit flat. Not much body to it at all and very little after taste. Overall a highly drinkable, if a bit bland, APA.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20 Chicagio (5) - - APR 23, 2012 does not count
Fresh and seasonally appropriate. Plenty of malt and hops perhaps bit of harsh bitterness in its aftertaste.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 kaser (243) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 12, 2012
Pours a clear amber with a little white foam. Draft. Grassy and slightly hoppy taste, pretty good and wasn't quite sure what to expect from an APA

Good initial head, did not last too long. Did not lace the glass as expected. Good taste, good color, unfiltered with sediment . Hops were balanced and not too bitter. Quality beer, but could be better.
