12oz bottle. Bottled 10/23/07. Poured brownish amber, with a moderate-sized tan head. Caramel malt aroma, along with some sweet grain and mild hops. Flavor is primarily sweet caramel malt, with enough citric hops to provide balance. Long malty finish. Not bad.

another easy drinker from Grand Teton. looks like and even tastes somewhat like a marzan. a fiery, rusty orange in color with a tan head. flavor is slightly sweet but still has that roasty, toasty character of the Oktoberfest style, but with some dry hop bitterness on the tail end. thanks to Saarlander for the bottle.

Aroma of sweet caramel, biscuit and light rum. Appearance is dark ruddy red with tan head. Flavor matches the nose. Palate is bubbly and creamy. Quite a good Amber.

Amber color with a medium tan head. Caramel malts, grass and light grapefruit in the aroma. Light sweetness and a touch of citric hops. Pretty weak overall.

Hopped up amber, not mellow enough for what I was looking for. Nice crisp nose. Looks good. It hides the malt behind the hops. Decent enough.

From the bottle. Nice solid beer. More maltier the hoppy. Poured with a good haed and lace.

The signature Grand Teton brew with a pleasant nuttiness to its substantial malt and some faint hop edges. Decent stuff. I’d say it’s closer to an English pale than other American ambers, but I’m not much of a style guy.

bottle. Pours dark, slightly orange amber, with frothy off white head. Plenty of caramel on the aroma, with some pretzel and subtle nuts as well. Flavor is balanced, with enough to hops to impart a subtle bitterness. Initial flavor is caramel and hay with this subtle hop bittering, but the finish is kind of odd, leaving a chalky, dusty feel in the mouth, with tones of nuts. Not bad, but will not revisit.

This nice amber beer had little head. It smelled sweet and roasted with hints of alcohol. The flavor was similar but more malty and dark. It was very faint and watery though. It could have been better.
