3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Pours a gorgeous, clear, red-brown color with a light brown head. At first when too cold the aromas appear metallic, but when it warms up a bit, it develops a roasted caramel and rich resin scent. It has a classic amber taste showing rich malts with a nice mild bitter aftertaste. The feel is full and thick - quite pleasant.

There are so many beers out there, so many styles, and so many that I have tried. Not many stand out from the pack. This beer is good, but no exception to the rule.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Bottled 10/23/07. Poured brownish amber, with a moderate-sized tan head. Caramel malt aroma, along with some sweet grain and mild hops. Flavor is primarily sweet caramel malt, with enough citric hops to provide balance. Long malty finish. Not bad.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
another easy drinker from Grand Teton. looks like and even tastes somewhat like a marzan. a fiery, rusty orange in color with a tan head. flavor is slightly sweet but still has that roasty, toasty character of the Oktoberfest style, but with some dry hop bitterness on the tail end. thanks to Saarlander for the bottle.
