4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Deep red brown like a strong cup of tea. Light sour grain aromas. Smooth grain light sour then an appearance of the bourbon at the end. Amazing balance of sour bourbon flavors.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
"The multiple award winning Extra Special Brown Ale aged with Lactobacillus for two years in a French oak Sawtooth Chardonnay barrel."
Had this a couple of times tonight at the Bittercreek Grand Teton 25th Anniversary Party.
Pours with a short lasting white head... very short lived.. the brew is a fairly clear orangish/red. No lacing to speak of.
Nose is definitely "wild" with nothing (IMO) that resembles the original Bitch Creek... Funky fruitiness reminiscent of a light Flanders... plenty of lactic notes with a lite bite of acetic acid. There is oak.. a bit vinous, but I am not much of a wine guy, and have a hard time on the aroma especially.
Flavor is surprisingly light given the complex aroma profile... vinous... a light oaky element... the lactic/light acetic notes are there too, but again are light... with warmth, I get a slightly off-putting vinyl/plastic quality.
The body is light and the carbonation was very light (maybe intended this way by the brewer, but I never asked)
Overall.. This is a pretty nice brew.. I would buy if it was in bottles.

3.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at bitter creek grand teton event. Pours out a nice amber with a small head. Nose is awsome lots going on sour apple grape malt and some sweetness. Taste is not as awsome as the nose pretty thin a odd bitterness not the pucker sour that matches the nose.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draught at the brewery. Arrived a cloudy deep brown with a moderate-large tan head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of oak and malt. The flavor is malt, oak and tamarind with some mild sour tanginess. Mild bitterness at the finish. Medium-full bodied.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draft at the Grand Teton event at Tap 25. This one pours a dark reddish orange color with a khaki head. The aroma is nicely sour with lots of stone fruit and light funk. The flavor is more stone fruit, brett and subtle phenolics with a big fruity body. Funky finish. Fun beer!
