3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Beese (79) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2007
Pours a copper colour ith some slightly yellow head. Quite a nice, spicey aroma and a fairly full initial flavour, some strong hop bitterness. It fades a bit fast, but I thought it was quite nice.

Cask@London Drinker. Sweet, flat and dull. London Pride-esque flavour. Pretty average English bitter, sweet grainy caramel malts and some light floral hops.

A Mes rate:
Gravicask at London Drinker. Birhgt amber colour, rapidly vanishing head. Plenty of hops but they just dont seem to have any class. Bittering finish. Fairly boring stuff.

Cask gravity at London Drinker BF 07. Amber colour with thin off white head. Slgihtly farty aroma. Odd aroma. Decent bitter finish. Malts are ok but the aroma isn’t (my notes say something stronger abou the aroma).
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 RoyceH (1153) - Hesperange, LUXEMBOURG - MAY 1, 2006
Cask dark gold ale. Quite heavily hopped, fruity ale. Short bitter finish, good session ale.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Spiesy (2336) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - MAY 16, 2004
Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London. Golden with shinny white frothy head, flat then on. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Decent bitter flavour with some pineapple up front. Pretty close to a session ale. (The jazz was really kicking last night).
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 leaparsons (6329) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 25, 2002
Floral hops on the aroma. This is a "festival-like" real ale. Malts are light but the oily hops dryness is very good. One critisism - its a little watery.
