3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Mungo (2472) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2007
Cask conditioned @ South Western Arms, Soton. Pale colour. Slight citrussy hops with sulphury yeast. Clean with pleasant level of tart citric hoppiness. Quite good but would be better without the insistent yeastiness.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 chriso (7065) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 22, 2006
Cask (gravity dispense), Ealing Beer Festival, May 2006. Glowing golden colour, with nice condition. The aroma starts off with a sulphurous whiff, which I’m sure wasn’t intended. This clears up and it develops into a nice clean, fresh beer with some flowery hop character and a grainy note that I assume comes from the wheat, but I wouldn’t like guess what proportion of the mash it makes up. A nice smooth drinker with enough hop character to provide some bite.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MesandSim (7109) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 17, 2006
A Mes rate: Cask at Baker St JDW. Hoppy nose. Decent semi cloudy body with a bibbly but well behaved head. Ok chunky malty flavour with a bitter hop finish. Wheat is apparent throughout. Nothing special.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 harrisoni (10070) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 21, 2006
Cask handpull at Simple Simon’s, Canterbury. Hazy gold with lasting bubbly white head. Lemon, cereal aroma. Wheat aroma is quite dry. Hops on aroma too. Quite full in mouth and quite creamy and then excellent hop on end, bitter. Very rounded. Like an English hoppy bitter with wheat added. Hop on end is lovely. Very bitter.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Joeh (2036) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 12, 2006
Cask Conditioned at Ealing Beer on Broadway Festival, 2006. Pale gold and a thin white head. The body of the beer is mainly sweet malt, maybe a little wheat and a grainy/cereal like character. A touch of spice and dryness in the finish. Decent.

Cask Conditioned, at the Crosse Keys, London.
Clear pale orange coloured body, topped with a sparse, patchy, thin white head. Faint beer-can flavour and aroma. Rusty, metallic flavour, which is sharp and harsh. A shocker.
