Spiesy (2336) - Sydney, - SEP 19, 2003
Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Bright, clear golden body, with a fine and consistent white head Lovely fruitiness comes forward to meet your. The flavour is clean, crisp and unmistaken. The fruitiness transfers through the palate delivering a long and steady bitter finish. Absolutely quaffable as hell. The presentation on this beer was amazing.

Blackfriers. Aroma was noteably grand union, grassy citrus leafy hops. Taste has a great pale malt backbone with a very well balanced flavoursome hoppy bite. Excellent session ale.

Beese (79) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 24, 2007
Pours a golden colour with a moderate ammount of head. Light, hoppy aroma. Somewhat predictable hoppy flavour with a little malt in their for balance. Not bad, but nothing particularly unique.

downender (4389) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 11, 2007
Cask-conditioned at the JDW pub, Chancery Lane, London WC2, 9/7/07. Golden with a lacy white head. This was seriously dull. The aroma was of tired hops followed by flavours of more hops which had seen better days.

A Mes rate: Cask at Baker Street ’Spoons. Typical run of the mill fayre from Grand Union. A fresh hopped golden ale with just a lick of malt to keep it interesting. Ok it was quite pleasant and very quaffable. One of their better beers at least.

berkshirejohn (3020) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - APR 10, 2007
Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Pale gold in colour, with a frothy white head; fresh hoppy smell, with a trace of yeast; chewy in the mouth with a sweet fruity start, and plenty of hops; leading to a pleasantly sharp grapefruit aftertaste. An excellent golden ale.

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 25 Nov) Pale amber colour with small white head. Fruity nose with citrus, grapefruit and floral hops. Fruity taste with notes of grapefruit, lemon and a nice hoppy bitterness in the finish. A nice, hoppy golden ale.

Cask conditioned and handpulled at the VAT & Fiddle, Nottingham. A viscous gold, chewy ale, long lasting bitterness, lovely stuff.

Cask gravity at Kent BF. I fall somewhere in between spiesy’s comments and those from duff and chris_o. Slightly yeasty nose on this golden beer with some citrus and hoppy dry finish. I found it very drinkable without it being outstanding

duff (5483) - St, Margarets, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2004
Cask@Catford Beer Festival. Boiled egg and sulfur in the nose, bready/cracker character, lemony, tea-like hops, dissapointing.
