Cask @ Wenlock Arms. Dark brown, almost no head. Very light bodied, hints of herbs and spices. Very easy to drink, a good summers day refresher.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. Deep ruby colour. Thin off white head. Quite hoppy for a mild. Nice tangyness on the tongue. Bit of stale malt on aroma. Bit thin in the middle, but finishes well. Bit of powdery choc/coffee. Grand Union do make some good beers.

Gravity at Reading beer festival 2006. Lighter brown Mild, with a big head for a beer fest! Not bad. A bit malty, crunchy and fizzy, with a nice middle of faint choc. Ends watery. Mixed.

Cask@The Magpie and Crown, Brentford, London. Fairly smooth and sweetish mild. Some caramel/toffee and roasted malt. Very soft mouthfeel. I know its a mild, but i still think it needs a bit more guts.

Pretty much what kook said. OK as a lightweight quaffing beer but a bit thin and unremarkable. The mouthfeel is a touch ashy. Cask (gravity dispense), Ealing Beer Festival.

Thin, acidic and slightly fruity. Mild roast and some oaky notes. Dark brown body, short head. Lacks depth.

Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Clear brown body with little or no head. Thin and washed out looking for mild. Thin toasted malt aromas that need more depth and structure. Milds aren’t meant to be massive beasts but this was punching bellow its weight even at 3.6%
