JAF737300 (733), New York, New York, USA Oct 28, 2007 The beer pours a mid range amber with notes of light citrus and some light bitterness on the nose. The palate seems to come off a bit watery and a bit of the bitterness seems to disappear.
Sledge Jr (2702), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Jun 24, 2008 Cask version on tap at C’est What? Orange with a white head. Mild citrus aroma. This is really true to style. Mild and not so bitter up front. Has a lingering mild bitterness. Very smooth palate. This is not my favorite stye, but they did indeed nail it. Blasphemies (45), Ontario, Canada Apr 4, 2008 Draught at the Granite Toronto. Nice hop aroma. Copper colour with small white head. Citris mild bitter taste, low carbonation. Really enojy this one, I think even a bit more than the best bitter special (cask), (but I’ll have to try that one again some day) Geth_in_beer (602), Nova Scotia, Canada Mar 8, 2008 On tap in Gingers. Golden brown in colour with a thin creamy white head. Smooth texture, no bitterness in this really. Sweet and smooth. A little dull. StompBrockmore (300), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 24, 2007 Draught at The Magpie, Toronto - came clear amber/copper gold with a medium white head. Aroma is mild citrus and grassy hops. A little understated. Flavour is typically English in character, citrus mixed with earthy hops and sweet malt in the background. Creamy and very sessionable. Well balanced.
