Hazy orange rust pour with a very white head. Fairly weak scent. Some hops but not much else. Nice hoppy bite. Goes down easy. No horrible grapefruit bitterness. Enjoyable and that’s from me who doesn’t like strong hops.

Draft - Orange and pine hops. Clear gold with a thin white head. Orange, resin and pine with a mellow bitterness. A well balanced mellow cask, but nothing special.

From Cask Days tent at Beau’s Oktoberfest 2013, Vankleek Hill. Clear pale amber with a short lived white head. Aroma is caramel, hops, butter. Flavor is caramel, toasty. Finish is somewhat herbal, earthy, metallic. Dish water. A hint of citrus...light body, null carbonation. Not so great.

On cask at WVRST. Hazy copper with a foamy head. Floral citrus aroma with caramalt characters. Malt and hop balanced out nicely in the taste. Super smooth and creamy cask mouthfeel; awesome. A good one from Granite.

UPDATED: NOV 20, 2013 A good beer. Great to have on tap at the brewery, it is a nice little Brew/Pub in Toronto to visit and try some new beers. You can take some home in growlers as well afterwards.

My first cask pour at C’est What. Hoping this becomes a gateway. Great drink but won’t work for a session.

Cask at C’est What, Toronto
Cloudy amber color, with small sized creamy head. The aroma is mild, with some malt and caramel, and hops. Smooth mouthfeel; good malt flavor, light toffee, some residual sweetness, fruity hops and more yeast than expected. There is a light apple touch.
Interesting, pleasant, with a British accent.
