An amber IPA with a thin big bubbled off white head. A nice hoppy floral aroma with nice grapefruit, orange marmalade and nice malty qualities. In mouth malty and hoppy IPA with grapefruit. Medium bodied. On tap at the brewpub with Sammy, March 22, 2009.

On cask at C’est What. Hazy orange pour with a frothy white head. Light orange and pine aroma as well as a little vanilla. Chewy mouthfeel. A little bready with light hop citrus character. Clean finish. Nice brew. Very refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I tried this beer on tap on October 28, 2011 at "C’est What" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a clear golden-red colour with a white creamy head. The aroma was domninated by citrusy hops, caramel, and weak spicy notes. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was citrus, toffee, and had a bitter finish.

From cask at c’est what. Beautifully creamy in the mouth with thin head that really lasts. Food hop presence up front, with some lighter malt backing in the end. Nice stuff!

Cask at Gambrinus. The most recent offering on a Thursday of cask. A Thursday of ale. Murky brown and opaque, like the Okee-fanokee swamp in Florida. Has a thin ring of bubbles. An ale of a cask in the aroma. Citrus meets a subtle fruitiness and floral hops and aluminum. Metallic and bitter, like sucking on a nail, but in a liquid form. Some citrus and earthy malts, but mostly metal. The most metallic beer I’ve had, but still pleasant. Creamy, medium bodied, lingering bitterness. Good.

Growler form the Halifax Brewery. Clear copper colour with a decent frothy white head. Medium carbonation. Malt with a good finish of bitter hop. Very pleasant fresh aroma. Rather rich, smooth syrup like texture. Typical Granite character in the beer. Earthy body of malt and a hop flavour. Nice.

Cloudy yellow pint with very large bubbles produced from hand-pumping out of a cask. Stinks of citrus, grass and pine needles. Tastes almost like orange juice laced with hops. Slight malty background compliments an obviously hop-forward beer. Bitterness lasts long after the pint does. Get it whenever you can on cask, this is a great one.
