Cask @ Volo. Pours a cloudy orange with minimal head. Aroma of toasted malt, jam, apricot, toasted biscuit. Flavor of bready malt and bitterness up front, followed by spicy hops and tobacco. Light, drinkable, and tasty.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 rob6239 (480) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 30, 2012
Cask conditioned at Burger Bar. Poured golden with large frothy head - so I think it was near the end of the cask or it shouldn’t have been so carbonated. Great aroma of pine and floral hops. Taste was smooth with sweet and bitter mixed well.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 dfearnley (349) - Alberta, CANADA - JUL 24, 2012
18 oz cask conditioned to pint glass
Sour apple and bubblegum aroma. Hazy yellowish amber with a 1/2 cm bubbly white head. Bubblegum is there in the taste too which disappears quickly into the bitterness.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 solidfunk (1919) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 16, 2011
A good leave, although it isn’t super bitter or really all that hoppy for an IPA. Not bad, but doesn’t match the style well for me. On tap
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 rederic (2564) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 2, 2010
On cask at the Toronto location, clear yellow color, with a small white head, light floral hop, resinous, piney, fruity, citrusy nose with some lemon, grapefruit, orange rind notes with some mild toasted, caramel malt, toffee, kind of tea leaf accents in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a juicy flowery hop, leafy, grassy character, with some resinous, citrusy, grapefruit skin flavours with some toasted, caramelized grainy cereal malt undertones, leading towards a juicy, hoppy, leafy, resiny bittering finish.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 danmingo (25) - Alberta, CANADA - SEP 19, 2010
Very good. A little bit of biterness that you expect from an IPA. Nice golden colour. Finished very nice. Recommended.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Spab (1688) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 20, 2010
Cask at the brewpub (free Father’s Day pint!). Pours a nearly clear gold with smallish sized soapy white head. Mild aroma with caramel and resiny/citric hops. Hopping is more pronounced in the flavour with tea-like backbone. Dry bitterness in finish. Ok but not one of the Granite’s best.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Dickinsonbeer (5075) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUL 25, 2009
Pours a deep gold- light copper with a thin head. Aroma is on the herbal and grassy side with hints of earth and toasty crackery and light carapils sweetness. Flavor is more woodsy, earthy and leafy with grass and herbs- with a slight phenolic spiciness and an ok toasty malt backbone. Somewhat easy drinking. Weird hop usage just didn’t quite do it for me.
