on cask at the brewery in toronto. golden (this doesnt look like an IPA). no hops in the aroma. no hops anywhere. my server told me the hop shortage has affected this brew and its not as good as it once was. ill i can say is this is an uninspired offering.

Can from the brewery. Pours a deep apricot with thin white head. Nose is fruity and floral, euro hops, overripe fruit. Taste follows the nose, fruity esters, firm bitterness, low carbonation, some citrus fruit. Very English, very tasty. Light for an IPA. I like it. Not at all in the west-coast style.

Cask at Castro's Lounge. attractive colour and head. No odour. Unbalanced and watery on the palate. Little hops. Long finish but not enjoyable. Wouldn't order again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured an orange-amber color with a medium sized soapy white head that left no lacing. The aroma was tangy, fruity and citric. The flavor was bitter, dryish and bitey with fruity and citric hops. Long finish. Light body and thin. Meh.

Cask pour at Victory Cafe looks fantastic: butter yellow body with a plump & curvy one finger head. Clear case of nice legs, shame about her face. This is a mild tasting British style IPA, with a flaccid palate & far too flowery flavour. May go well for a quick pint before work, but other than that your other options have more pull.

Cask - Earthy and a bit of grapefruit. Clear gold with a thin head. Grassy and resinous hops, perfume, mellow with a light malt backbone. Nice cask style session English IPA.

On tap at Granite Brewery - golden with a soapy head. Far and away the worst IPA I have ever had. Taste is buttery and watered down. If you ever have the opportunity to drink one of these, get something else instead.

Grey Cup 2012. Sample tray. Good head on cask. Nice hop delivery. Grapefruit with light malt gentleness. Nice finish and aftertaste.

Cask @ Volo. Pours a cloudy orange with minimal head. Aroma of toasted malt, jam, apricot, toasted biscuit. Flavor of bready malt and bitterness up front, followed by spicy hops and tobacco. Light, drinkable, and tasty. 7/4/7/4/14 [3.6/5]

Cask conditioned at Burger Bar. Poured golden with large frothy head - so I think it was near the end of the cask or it shouldn’t have been so carbonated. Great aroma of pine and floral hops. Taste was smooth with sweet and bitter mixed well.

18 oz cask conditioned to pint glass Sour apple and bubblegum aroma. Hazy yellowish amber with a 1/2 cm bubbly white head. Bubblegum is there in the taste too which disappears quickly into the bitterness.
