Soft taste, comes on quite pleasantly actually. The best fruit beer I’ve had actually - usually I’m not much of a fan. On tap.

On tap at the Toronto location, clean yellow gold color, with a small white head, light raspberry puréed, juicy fruity nose with a faint honeyed pale malt note in the aroma follows through on a light-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, candyish raspberry, cherry character of artificial fruity sweetness, with a mild honeyed pale grainy malt undertone, leading towards a malty, juicy candyish raspberry finish.

Growler purchased at the Halifax Brewery. Raspberry aroma, very refreshing. Light golden colour with a thin white head and lace. Nice bitterness gives it a lovely refreshing texture. The beer is easy to drink and has a hint of raspberry. Enjoyable ale.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Spab (1196) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 16, 2010
Growler from the brewery. Pours a hazy orange-brown with thin white head. Aroma of raspberry, sweet but not overly so. Raspberries in the flavour, fairly tart with some vaguely piney bitterness in the finish. Fine carbonation. Decent fruit beer.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Dickinsonbeer (5075) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUL 25, 2009
Tap at Toronto location. Porus a very light pinkish peach with a very faint violet tint - foamy thin white head. Aroma is slight raspberry and perfumey with phenolic spiciness, somewhat light jamminess as well. Flavor si light crackers with hust a touch of raspberry jelly on them- with more perfume, and off phenolics. Light and crackery finish.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Rastacouere (5923) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 10, 2008
Objectively speaking:
Feels more or less like the ringwood ale in which a portion of raspberry juice was added.
I like:
Not too subtle, you can guess raspberries were used without having the glass anywhere close to your nose.
I dislike:
Not feeling particularly fresh and this is vital for a blonde fruit beer. More or less successful, the palate remains the same light-bodied, not particularly crisp palate than the ringwood, so does the appearance and the flavours are not a natural match where they could have gathered more appeal in a more complex malt blend.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 matt7215 (1652) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 1, 2008
on tap at the brewery in toronto. golden in colour with a tight white head. nice sweet raspberry aromas. flavour is initially sweet raspberry but this fades into pale malts and this finish is dry and tart. pretty solid and something id for sure have again. i dont think i could take a growler of this one but a few bottles here and there would be awesome.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 JAF737300 (1221) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 28, 2007
Draft in Toronto. POurs golden with a slight colored tinge. The nose is heavy rspberry and the palate shows the same deep fruit flavor. This diminishes but you don’t get much after the hit of fruit.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 mephisto (1253) - TAIWAN - JUL 3, 2007
draft at granite brewery in toronto. clean golden with almost no head, the aroma is rasberry and so is the flavor. i feel all rasberry beers are off balanced, and so is this one. so maybe it’s just me.
