I found this a surprisingly great beer. Very smooth and properly sweet. A full bodied beer that won't disappoint if you like a full flavored beer with a touch of Carmel and molasses. Enjoy! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice dark amber color with a short but nice head, minor lacing. Toast and caramel aroma is interesting and unique. Taste has a malt sweetness backed up by a nice mellow bitterness. Finishes clean and crisp. I like this brew a lot.

Flavor is malt, chocolate, a hint of cinnamon, and has a good amount of fiz. Has a medium amount of hop that gives it a good bite. Color is dark brown with a red hue. And it comes in an awesomely huge mug. Keep ’em coming.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2012 Great smell. The aroma of this beer got me going. I couldn’t wait to drink it. What an interesting taste almost a grape taste. It went down smooth and left very little after taste.

Surprisingly good for a Granite City brew! Very forward caramel, nutty, toasty flavor that is very enjoyable. Thinnish body but very flavorful and tasty brew indeed. Refreshing. Nice darkish brown color too.

Pours a dark cola with light carbonation and head. Strong malt aroma. Caramel flavor with light coffee and dark chocolate notes. Relatively clean mouthfeel with light caramel and chocolate aftertaste.

Tap at brewpub, Wichita, KS. Pours deep amber with an aroma of faint nut. Flavor is a nice caramel malt in the foreground with a nice molasses finish. A bit thin on the tongue. Well-made bock; nice balance of flavors. I’ll have this again next time I’m in Wichita.
