3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 harlequinn (2745) - Tacoma, USA - AUG 2, 2006
A very typical IPA, all the typical flavors, with a little bit of a lighter texture and body, with some grapefruit and orange rind flavors, mixed iwth a bit of a doughy malt body. Finish, is in your face, and then slides away into nothing.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. As "Duke Of Wellington Pale Ale". Clear amber color with a lovely big off-white head. Aroma of hops, maybe slightly stale, with citric, earthy and piney notes, and some malt, a bit caramelly and grainy. Later whiffs are more malty with light buttery notes. Sweetish malt flavor, grainy and caramelly, with light fruitiness and a moderately bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied. Pretty decent.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 jjgmd (298) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - MAR 17, 2012
Rusty colored hazy pour. Small tan head, with more of a malty aroma than a typical IPA. Not packed with much flavor, kinda flat without any complexity.
Very little bitterness with a short and boring finish. Quite watery in fact. Do not be duped by this duke. Quaff Score 3 / 10
