draft at fargo brewpub. aroma is pine leaning towards artificial means, then cleans up. appearance is super messy, sticky legs. ultra clouded off-copper pour. flavor is immediate peach tempered pine, fresh, some salty and partially washed out grains. strong caramel onslaught late.

Tap, coppery golden color with a white head, seemed more like a pale ale to me than an IPA, either way it wasn’t very good.

Really light for an ipa. Pretty lame. Grapefruit. Copper. No body. Not too hoppy.

Reviewed from notes. Consumed June 9th, 2013. The appearance is a golden/somewhat amber colored body with a moderate amount of carbonation that is seen rising, one finger white foamy head, light lacing surrounding the glass. The aroma has a strong malty presence up front with some hops trying to make a strong secondary take, but mainly stay subdued. The taste is sweet through the malts, sweet sticky aftertaste and finish. On the palate, its about a light to medium, somewhat sessionable, carbonation seems to be right on for the style and for me. Overall, is this really an EIPA, really? uh... ok, well, I thought it was more of an EPA, not bad, not spectacular, but hey, I’d probably have again.

Draft clear golden. Nose most malt. Taste malt sweet followed by bitterness. Not very aromatic or flavorful. Some bitter finish.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a thick foamy off white head. Aroma of sweet malts and faint earthy hops. Taste was thin, caramel malt, earthy, and not much bitterness.

Another "bad batch" beer this July 4th. Decided to try this after the Batch 1000 DIPA sucked. SUCKER - this is the BASE of the DIPA....oops. This one actually sucked less, with a tiny hint of hops trying to get through, but failing miserably. On tap at Granite City, Orland Park, IL. Yuck.

tap sampler in Troy, MI. Poured clear amber with a small off-white head. Floral hoppy aroma. Medium mouthfeel, average carbonation, not too dry but it does linger. Fruity malt flavour with some tart citrus hops.

20oz tap..probably closer to 16oz poured. Unfiltered orange-tan, big steady beige head. Classic English hop aroma. Rather watery in body, thin and lacking depth. Toasty, mellow citrus hop balance. Tastes like the mall IPA it is, pretty unimpressive.

Tried at Granite City Brewery in Kansas City. Part of a flight. Found all of the beers to be watered down and mediocre at best. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Granite City Wichita, the nose is surprisingly good, but the taste is malt forward and malt dominated.
