This is a basic run of the mill pale ale. Drinkable but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draft at source. Strong floral and herbal hop aroma. Hazy orange with white head that laces well. Taste is initially very bread crust with moderate bitterness. Followed by more bread crust malt flavors. Finished dry, moderate carbonation. Not a fan of the hops or the overly crusty malt flavors.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at the Schaumburg location. Clear amber appearance with a lacy off-white head. Piney spruce, light hop resin, grass, husky grains, floral notes and herbal hops in the aroma. Medium hop bitterness, a little harsh, with a hint of malt sweetness. Meh.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
A well balanced pale, The Duke starts with a citrus hoppy nose with light caramel malt tones. Not a lot of bitterness, but a lot of fruity hop character with a lasting finish. Pours light copper with a wispy off-white head.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap: The aroma consists of light-moderate caramel, fruit, faint citrus, and florals. Itís a hazy amber with a small off-white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a thick ring. There is a thick sheet of lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick moderate and a touch of fruit. The finish has light-moderate florals and light pine. Itís medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel. Overall, itís solid, but English IPAs arenít my favorite.

Sampled from the tap at the St. Cloud location. Pours a near clear orange gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a decent amount of flora and sweet citrus with sweet grains backing. Flavor has musty grain and earthy citrus backed by a bit of flora and butterscotch backing.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours clear amber with an off white head. Caramel pine and citrus weíre there but it was really in the back reindeer and it didnít offer much else. As with most gc beers its,not offensive but not very exciting Either.
