3.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cloudy light copper, thick white head, too cloudy. Balanced hop-malt aroma, grassy hop. Balanced hop-malt flavor, grassy hop. Medium body, moderate hop bitterness. Wonderful, but wouldn’t call it a double IPA

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours hazy yellow orange with off white head. Smell is mild piney, mostly malt though. Taste is more malt with an of oxidized hop kick of bitter grapefruit, a herbal must, and some pine. Just enough to this to make this interesting.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Not sure how chains work, but this is the double ipa at the Roseville MN location. Caramel with off-white head. A very hoppy aroma with a bitter tinge to it. A slightly juicy iipa with a nice citrus hop character

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
By double they meant twice as much hops as GC normally adds. This "double" IPA was basically equivalent to a mildly hopped IPA. I struggle to rate it higher then what I gave it considering it’s supposed to be an Imp, and it has a very weak hop structure. cloudy amber, decent head. But everything is lacking. Piney, floral hop profile. But taste is lackluster. Light in fruit with a soft metallicy finish.
