On tap at the Schaumburg location. Clear yellow appearance with a fully dissipating white head and light lacing. Bland, thin and watery with a bit of corny malt sweetness. Tastes like domestic sludge, maybe slightly better.

Meh. Its the requisite craft beer for the non-craft beer enthusiast. Lightly grainy with a some grass and lemony notes. A bit on the dry side. Clear golden with a half finger spotty white head.

On tap: The aroma is pretty minimal with just a hint of straw. Itís a transparent dull yellow with a small white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. There is a thin sheet of lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a very light grain/cereal sweetness. The finish has mild grass/straw. Itís light bodied with light-moderate carbonation. Overall, itís a really light with nothing offensive going on. Iím sure that was the goal, but hedonistically, itís a little bland for my tastes.

Iím surprised by this beer since I really donít like light lagers. This beer had more body and less astringency. It was fairly balanced too. Otherwise, it mimics others in color and aroma.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Plain pale malty base, hints of sweetness, very little bitterness, and a relatively clean finish. A pretty typical brewpub lager.

Just as expected this passable beer exceeds the quality of the mass produced heavily marketed drafts ... just barely. If I had not gotten a flight for $5.00 I would have felt as if I overpaid. As it is thereís no reason to try this until you are desperate for ticks and need to scrape the bottom of the barrel.

Aroma / Appearance - A golden transparent core shimmers with thin white head protecting it from the air. Lemon pledge and light hops offer a hint of depth but overall this is like a Silent priest - turn away for a second and you will forget it immediately.

Flavor / Palate - Lemon grains tickle the tongue before a mellow transition to a grainy finish. Toasted white bread lingers during a mediocre finish that lacks any glaring flaws yet has also removed anything interesting at all. The best thing I can say is that if all you want is an inoffensive way to get alcohol into your system this gets the job done. Otherwise go down the street to something more local.
