12/22/2013: Granite City Two-Pull! Specialty Brew... To be honest, this beer blend is pretty good. It has the flavor of the light lager component up front with the roasty and nuttiness of the bock in the back. The body is lighted up enough to make this beer quite sessionsable and enjoyable without sacrificing too much of the flavor. Obviously, itís not as strong or pronounced as the bock on itís own, but itís definitely a blend that is easy for anybody to approach and enjoy. Draught at Granite City in Maumee, Ohio. Rating #54 for this beer.

Aroma: caramel, bread, roasty, resin, dough, smoke, Appearance: red, brown, clear, minimal head, Taste: medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, Palate: medium body, slick feel, soft carbonation, long finish, Overall it is a good beer, but Im not sure about mixing two different beers to make a whole new mixture. Somehow I think Im a purist in that way and prefer to keep them as individual brews.

My favorite GC brew. Pours a rather dark, nutty CPR with an off white head. Aroma if hops and nut. Smooth flavor, with a semi sweet lingering aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

tap sampler @ Troy, MI location. A lighter version of the Bennie. Pours a clear amber with a small white head. Light grainy malty aroma. Light mouthfeel. Sweet malty flavor with more grainy notes.

What do you get when you mix two average beers together? This guy! Oh well, their nacho/waffle fries are awesome.

Tried at Granite City Brewery in Kansas City. Part of a flight. Found all of the beers to be watered down and mediocre at best. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at GC, I donít get it, why would anyone do this? any why would the locals order growlers of this.. seems blasphemous but its so commonly ordered I guess people think its better than I do the northern lights part adds even more sweetness to the mai bock yielding a still boring beer

With the Northern Light being so mild and bland, this mix pretty much just pulls the already average Brother Bock down a notch.
