Can. A light golden cider with an off-white head. The aroma is dominated by apples. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of apples.

500ml can bought at Rema 1000, Stokmarknes. Glittering surface and bright coloured body with a very light greenish tint. Sweet aroma of pear. Ultra sweet, or better, sticky sweet taste of pears. Lively carbonated. A real sugary goo that was very hard to finish (26.06.2009).

Can 50 cl. Courtesy of yngwie. Pours almost crystal clear with a vague tint of green and a lively, rough white head. Perfumy and sweet apple aroma. Light body, extremely sweet pear notes. Very subdued tartness - if any. 270509

Cloudy watery with a tiny white head. Aroma had artificial poears. Flavour like wise and it finished sweet.

50 cL can, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours pale greenish with a small fizzy white head. Distinct pear aroma. Sweet and solid perry flavoured. Artificial and sweet perry flavoured finish. Slight aspertam like flat finish.

500 ml can. Almost colorless body, only a yellow-green shade. Instantly dying big-bubbeled white head. Tin canned pears and apples in the aroma along with an unpleasant scent of ’green’ candy. Sweet sugary, light acidic and quite artificial taste of pears, or more specific, pear syrup. Sticky texture. Notes of medicine in the finish. Not good.

Can. Pale golen colour with no head. Aroma is canned pears in syrup, sugar. Flavour is pear, syrup, sugar. Watery body. Thin perry.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2009 Can. Pours a sparkling, clear slightly yellow body. There’s not much color to be found, and absolutely no head or bubbles on top. The aroma isn’t offensive, it’s just plain boring and uninteresting. A distinct aroma of canned pears in syrup is all there is. Well, maybe a grassy touch, but that’s all I get. It’s quite thin and fizzy in the mouth, more or less like sparkling water, but with the added joy of syrupy sweetness and canned pears. Some alcohol notes at the very end. Really useless product, but at least it’s not tasting really bad. I compared it with the neither fish nor bird Grans Sterk Pære Cider, which actually is a blend of pear and apple beverages. It looks just the same, but has a more evident grassy aroma, and something chemical, plastic-like in the back. Even the flavor is like that, plastic and chemical, with little to nothing fruity. Sweet too, and quite sticky. I’m not sure whether both "ciders" will continue, but if they decide to discontinue Sterk Pære Cider, it would be wise I think. Anyway, stay away from both. (080826)

Medium coarseish white head quickly disappears entirely. Watery body with faint greenish tinge. Sweet sugary artificial pear aroma with traces of cardamom. The taste is much the same, with a strange metallic off taste, very sweet and artificial, leaves a thick pelt on the teeth. Awful. Basically an insult to the good name of perry.
