Copper, tanned head. Smells of spice and caramel. Malty body good sweetness. Dry palate. Bitter finish.

Dark copper body with an off white fluffy head. Looks quite nice. Aroma of metallic hops, caramel, bread and a touch of raisins. This Grans is better than the other products from this brewery, but it still has the same metallic aroma which I really don’t care for.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2012 Flaske fra Rema. Lett mørk farge med beige skum. Lett ristet søtlig maltpreg. Smaken minner noe om fruktvann.....hva i himmelens navn skjedde på Grans bryggeri angående juleølet 2010. Attpåtil har de tre "forskjellige" i butikken, alle like grusomme!

0.33l bottle. This one pours a dark dark brown body with a nice big and kinda fluffy beige head. The aroma has tones of cold coffee, dark malts, some herbal touches and cardboard hints. Average carbonated with a weak and light watery mouthfeel. Flavors are actually not as horrible as Grans usually is. It’s dark malty with dark caramel and some light metallic hops and hints of butter towards the finish. Actually not to bad this time Grans.

-3 forskjellige Grans juleøl i butikk nå, Rema 1000 Lund, Kristiansand.- Pours dark brown. About an inch of tan head, which quickly disappears. Some slightly roasted malt aroma. Watery feel. Taste of fruit. Not to bad, but needs some more body (4,5% isn’t helping, but that’s the law in Norway for you...)

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are rich caramel, malt and hops.

Dark amber colour with light tan head. Malty aroma, some sweet notes. Medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour. Malty notes with some caramel. Light body, oily feel, average carbonation and a light bitter-sweet finish. Not bad.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.

[ Trade by Meilby ]. Clear medium to dark dark amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, fudge - toffee - butter. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fudge, toffee, malt extract, malt sugar sweet, vomit notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110122]

Purs dark amber with a medium offwhite head. Sweet malts, some bitterness. Thin and soft carbonated.

Bottle 330ml @ home Pours dark amber with a off-white head. Aroma is sweet malty and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter and sour. Feel watery, soft carbonation.
