1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Sigmund (3713) - Hafrsfjord, - SEP 6, 2007
500 ml can (music/guitar design), from REMA 1000. Brewed in accordance with the Reinheitsgebot. ABV is 4.7%. Pale golden colour, large white head. Weak sweetish aroma with "boiled" notes (over-boiled vegetables, maize grit). Sweetish flavour, sweeter than their previous pilseners, and definitely sweeter than a GOOD pilsener should be. No wonder they recommend drinking it "ice cold". Very moderate hops in the finish. Yawn. Next, please!

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Gr0ve (1878) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 3, 2007
500 ml can. Golden colour. Clear. Small fine-laced head that clings to the glass. Peppery aroma. Light malty notes. Low carbonation level. Light malt flavours. Little hop flavours to be found. Same can be said about the hop bitterness. There is almost none. Very much an industrial bland pale lager. Its nice if you don’t like the taste of beer.
