1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Quite bad. Some pilsner notes in the aroma, but it looks boring and tasteless, and the taste quite fits that impression. Ok body.

Can from Rema supermarket in Oslo. Golden yellow body with puffy head. Nose is corny, watery, metallic. Taste not much better. Very thin with taste of corn, malts and water. A bit prickly. Forgettable.

Duft av malt. Fin lys gyllen farge. Lite skum. Litt søtlig smak. Drikke øl i sommer varmen ikke noe mer.

0.5L can copper coloured design, "Grans Premium Pils", abv 4.7, b@Rema1000.
Clear really golden body, large creamy pearl white foam, none real lacings.
Scents of sweet malt, grain, bread, grassy meadow.
Fruity sweet malts in the taste, a bit slicky mouthfeel, and a bread dominated ending with some bitter and hops underneath, not longlasting.
Overall average plus.

0.5L can. Good hop aroma for the pils. Taste is light, but quite good. Good taste of hops and malt. Remainds little Czech style. Sweet and hop flavor end.

An ok pilsner for the price. Anonymous and doesn’t stand out at all, but an ok beer to get drunk on. ;)

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
330 ml bottle as Grans Premium Pils. BB 06/05/13. (Rema 1000) Kirkenes, Norway.
Clear pale golden colour with an average sized white head.
Malt, grassy hops, mild bitterness and a quite strong aroma of buttery sweetness. The flavour is pretty much the same. Quite strong sweetness. I don’t know if there’s some notes of the BB date past a long ago. It was quite a surprise to see it’s more than 3 months past the BB date. I just bought it less than 2 weeks ago...

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
33 cl bottle from Rema 1000. Not really a "premium" pilsener but OK. Small white head and a slightly taste of caramel. OK for a low-priced beer.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can. 4.7%. Best before 29.06.13. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Sweetish, dusty and somewhat hoppy aroma with a tart slightly wine-like overtone. Malt in the background. Tart, sweetish flavour; again the tartness is reminiscent of wine. Warming brings out a fruity note, which also seems wine-like, though it may be because of the tartness. Tart, hoppy finish – fruity as it warms. Overall so-so; as such it’s better (less bad) than I expected, but the tartness/wine-thing is interruptive and doesn’t really belong there. 12.03.13.
