Review from on tap. Years since I've had it. Clear dark gold. I'm certain this used to be better. Aroma is wet straw, watery caramel. Taste is sweet, with a faint bitterness. Finish is thin with a faint tingle.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap @ Granville Island. Bronze pour with a small off-white head. Really sweet caramel aroma. Lots of toasted nuts and some grassy hops. Slight butterscotch. Flavor is really sweet as well. One of those sweet caramel water beers. Slight grassy bitterness and a light floral hop character. Meh.

What the hell do you do at the cottage beside steal your brother’s cold beer while you’re waiting for yours to cool down. (It was warm beers, or warm milk. The cooler can only hold so much and my kids hate drinking the resulting cottage cheese. The sissies.) Drank from the cottage-appropriate loon glass tumbler. Pour a caramel clear brown, half finger white head that reduces to spotty sheet. Cereal malt nose, little caramel touch of copper. Cereal malts, little hops bitterness, thinner on the palate, creamy carbonation mouthfeel. This beer is meh. Thanks Molsons, and I think my brother owes me a better beer for taking this silver bullet for him. Whatcha think?

Liquide de couleur dorée avec un peu de mousse. Nez d’agrumes et de caramel. En bouche c’est simple et efficace. Agrumes et caramel. Corps faible a moyen. Carbonation faible a moyen. Moyenne amertume. Ce n’est pas un grand cru mais ca fait le travail!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a deep copper, with a thin bubbly head. Aroma includes notes of cracker, and caramel malts. As well as some floral hop notes. Tasting notes include caramel, dusty, some fruity hop notes, and a clean finish. The palate is light and watery, overall I am disappointed in this pale ale. I have had much better BPA’s.

Aroma of malts and not much else. A very watery beer. The caramel malts taste very syrupy. Not very good.
