COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our newest limited release beer is an alcoholic version of a traditional Caribbean ginger beer. It has a refreshing taste with the flavour and aroma of ginger and a bit of that spicy warmth you can only get from Jamaica.

Pale golden color. Ginger and ginseng nose. I think I need some Chinese stirfry. Massive gingery mouth that comes across artifically. Dry gingery finish

341ml bottle pours a pale golden amber color with a small white head that settles to leave a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild ginger and caramel. Taste is a ginger spiciness with some caramel malty sweetness and a light hoppy finish. An interesting brew, but nothing special.

Inoffensive, not off in any way, just a blonde with that Granville softness, packed with ginger. Not as strong as the one by Phillips.

Finish is ginger.

Extract tasting ginger. Only ginger. Not so drinkable. Slight orange coloured body. Thanks for the gift, Stephen. Thinnish mouthfeel.

Smells like ginger - hmm. I’m just going to think of this as the palate cleaner between sushi varieties and that’s it. Next! Bottle from Sammy at tasting.

650mL to lead lined tin stein Aroma is sour ginger. Appearance is a cloudy amber with a thin white head. Taste is a little bitter, but mostly ginger. It's light bodied and watery. I expected much more, but for me, this is a miss.

Had this guy a while back...not horrible but quite boring. Light or mild ginger in the nose with toasty malts. Fresh spices and a crisp bite of light ginger. Overall just quite monotone and boring.

Welcome back to above zero and Halloween. Kept the gourd out of this one. Pleasant ginger and malt scent. Moderate ginger taste and an enjoyable drinking experience.

Golden color. Light aroma of ginger. Light ginger flavor over a breadish Ale; ordinary bitterness, maybe a bit low.
Anonymous, the ginger doesn’t manage to provide a feeling of summer freshness.

On tap at the Granville Brewery tasting room. Colour is something of a light hazy yellow. Aroma and flavour of potent ginger. Certainly is what is advertised - not my thing though.

Single bottle purchased in a BC Liqour store in Chilliwack, BC on 08/20/2011. Colour: Didn’t see...drank out of the bottle...look light yellow. Nose: Very herbal - not just ginger. A smattering of marshmellow. Taste: Medium sweet, light bitter, light sour. Sweeter than expected. Ginger plays but not always at the forefront. Some vanilla and corn also contribute. Not as good as a couple of the gingers I have tried but by no means undrinkable.
