2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 mgermani (936) - Vancouver, - MAY 12, 2007
Pours a clear orange with a thick, white head and nice lace. Aroma of ginger and slight hops. Tastes very light, sweet malt base with light hops and smooth ginger - definitely not a late addition. Light almost creamy body. This is better than the St. Paul’s ginger beer that I had, but it’s too sweet. Can’t we find a nice american hop (simcoe?) to go with the ginger to keep this thing better balanced? I had one glass and poured the rest of the bottle.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Powertrip (844) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 24, 2011
Single bottle purchased in a BC Liqour store in Chilliwack, BC on 08/20/2011. Colour: Didn’t see...drank out of the bottle...look light yellow. Nose: Very herbal - not just ginger. A smattering of marshmellow. Taste: Medium sweet, light bitter, light sour. Sweeter than expected. Ginger plays but not always at the forefront. Some vanilla and corn also contribute. Not as good as a couple of the gingers I have tried but by no means undrinkable.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 joet (1876) - Fulton, California, USA - AUG 11, 2011
Cloudy, orange. Large bubbled white foam. Very carbonated. Thought this was infected due to its exuberant presentation but it’s very palatable with no off flavors. This is a perfect example of what a ginger beer should be. Spritzy, dry in feel, spicy, floral, herbal, tangy, some apparent sweetness. Very gingery. Some remaining acidic feel on the tongue, some bitterness, definitely ginger in the finish as well. Very well done.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 gramity (601) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 9, 2011
Pale golden color. Ginger and ginseng nose. I think I need some Chinese stirfry. Massive gingery mouth that comes across artifically. Dry gingery finish

650 ml bomber 2011 release. Hawaiian ginger this time around.
Clear amber gold with not much head, smells and tastes of spicy ginger, bright and clean, light floral hops and light malts. Clean ginger finish, very nice with the nigiri!
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 riversideAK (4567) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JUL 6, 2011
Spicy ginger aroma, some sweetness, a touch of beery aroma. Pours golden with light haze. THe flavor is spicy - lots of ginger, light sweetness. Thats about it. Not bad, would make my stomach feel good if I had to shit.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Cole (925) - , Alberta, CANADA - JUL 7, 2010
Great amber colour with no head. Strong ginger aroma very nice smelling. Flavour is very pleasant, nice light ginger flavour, not over powering. but I could use more body and complexity. Like most beers from Granville this one is pretty dull.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 11/20 TheHulk (484) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 7, 2010
I bought a 2-pak from the brewery gift shop. Smells like I’m in the bulk section at the grocery store. Not much head, very clear, no lacing. Kinda sad. You can really taste the ginger but there’s not much else going on. Quite thin and clear, clean tasting. It’s a nice ginger flavour, but there’s not that much to it. It’s pretty plain.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours light hazy yellow. Aroma and flavour of potent ginger. Certainly is what is advertised - not my thing though.
