Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and chocolate, leading to a roasted finish.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a clear dark brown with a reddish hue and a small beige head. Sweet, chocolate aroma. Medium body, sweet roast, thick vanilla yet the roastiness really grows towards the finish. 150313

Pours a dark brown with creamy light brown head. Great aromas of vanilla, milk chocolate, banana bread, and some booze. More vanilla and milk chocolate flavours before a nice dark chocoate finish. Palate is thin, but still a solid effort.

Bottle shared with northropfrye. Aroma seems a little bit like rubbing alcohol or something, with a bit of chocolate. Appearance was nice, head was nice at first before dissipating. Taste of bitter chocolate, not very strong, pleasant, chicory at the back. I liked it well enough.

Warm, bready, faintly chocolate aroma...kind of like a hot chocolate. Appearance is pretty nice, dark with a brown head and okay lacing. Taste is semi-sweet, faintly dark chocolate, but not very intense. Abv is masked pretty well, but this is a bit disappointing actually. Not very flavourful. Flying monkeys BNL kicks this one’s ass.

Looks beautiful. Tan head with swirls of darker notes. Huge chocolate aroma and an even bigger chocolate taste. Instead of pairing with a dessert, serve this as the dessert. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
