Looks beautiful. Tan head with swirls of darker notes. Huge chocolate aroma and an even bigger chocolate taste. Instead of pairing with a dessert, serve this as the dessert. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Strong and delicious aroma of mint chocolate, marshmallow, and a slight note of coffee. Opaque, dark-leathery brown colour with a small head. For a beer with such a strong aroma, I was disappointed with the lack of interesting or significant flavour: no discernable flavour from any other average stout. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, a treat for the nose, but somewhat disappointing on the tongue.

Pours a semi transparent black with a couple inches of very light brown head that quickly turns into a small ring around the glass. Aroma is made up of vanilla, sweet milk chocolate, a mild perfume like alcohol. Flavour consists of a lot of sweet milk chocolate, light vanilla extract notes, slight roasted malt, an unpleasant alcohol shines through which for an 8 percent abv beer is unimpressive. It’s been a while since i drank gib because their regular line is pretty bad but I decided to give their big bottle series a try since they rave about so much to see if it was any better, I’m disappointed but not surprised.
