COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A bronze-coloured ale that is brewed using traditional tettnang hops. We've taken a bold steep forward with this one and added a hint of pure Canadian maple syrup for a creamy taste that is smooth, not sweet.

This one let me down a bit, as I was expecting maple and it did not deliver. Too bad.

Bottled sample. Dark amber in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of maple chocolates, minerals, and pale malts. Sweetish in the mouth with a kind of creamy maple element, backed by subtle fruit, sweet corn, and flint. Light bodied, inspite of its sweetness. Not very interesting. Almost average.

Bottle. Reddish brown colour with thin white head. Aroma is wet straw. Taste is kind of creamy, hardly any maple. Not great.

In bottle; pours a light brown/bronze color. Aroma somewhat sweet with maple and brown sugar notes. Taste was similar, not alot of body ... smooth and easy drinking, not to sweet. I would say this beer is OK ...not sure if I would buy again

341mL bottle poured a pale copper color with small white head and virtually no lacing. Aroma is very mild maple. Taste is lightly sweet malts and maple and a mild hoppy finish. Nothing remarkable about this beer.

Pours a bronze color with aroma of maple syrup. Taste is very light and not complex. This beer is mildly sweet where you can taste the maple syrup and possibly brown sugar throughout. Overall a decent not very complex light beer.

Pours a fair brown colour, with a faint head that vanishes abruptly. Toffee caramel cream aromas with the same on first taste. Tangy carbonation, creamy and a soft smooth finish. Middle of the pack for this beer. I was not impressed.

Single bottle purchased from Zyn Liqour in Calgary, AB on April 15, 2011. Colour: Dark brown with hints of red and low quickly fading head. Nose: A slight metallic note, then settles into some cooked yeast, broccoli, light maple. Taste: Did I get an old bottle again? Light sweet, light sour, light bitter. Something slightly skunky....a flat profile that remains restricted and unrevealing right up until the finish, which finally opens up to maple and oak. Totally disapointing from taste on.

Very average beer. Had on tap at Kilkennys in Calgary. Sweet maple cream aroma with mild toffee malts and no hops. Taste is very macro amber ale tasting. Not the best beer.
