3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 beerledgend (1050) - Waterloo, Wellington, - DEC 10, 2008
Dark red in colour with tick creamy white head. Huge maple cyrup aroma. Smooth body, mild bitterness. Sweet mouthfeel that lasts for ages.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 jgb9348 (3497) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - APR 23, 2012
Deep crisp amber coloured body with a copper glow and a thin, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of toasted nuts, malt, alcohol, apricots, pears, wort and a bit of funk. Light-bodied; Sharp maple and honey flavour with a lot of unfinished sugars, some malt and metal and a touch of nuts in the mix. Aftertaste is relatively mild with only a touch of alcohol and malt noticeable, when most of the other flavours are caramel, raisins and a pungent amount of maple, but it doesn’t show too well. Overall, a pretty uninspired beer that shows some good flavours, but not enough of them to be strong enough to sample over the water flavour. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from the brewpub in Vancouver (Granville Island), British Columbia, Canada on 17-July-2008 (yes, four years ago) sampled at home in Washington on 23-April-2012, a day after Vancouver was eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs (haha).
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 dreamflower (197) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 29, 2011
This one let me down a bit, as I was expecting maple and it did not deliver. Too bad.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 piscator34 (1644) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 21, 2011
Bottled sample. Dark amber in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of maple chocolates, minerals, and pale malts. Sweetish in the mouth with a kind of creamy maple element, backed by subtle fruit, sweet corn, and flint. Light bodied, inspite of its sweetness. Not very interesting. Almost average.

Bottle. Reddish brown colour with thin white head. Aroma is wet straw. Taste is kind of creamy, hardly any maple. Not great.

In bottle; pours a light brown/bronze color. Aroma somewhat sweet with maple and brown sugar notes. Taste was similar, not alot of body ... smooth and easy drinking, not to sweet. I would say this beer is OK ...not sure if I would buy again
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 reebtogi (2191) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 1, 2011
341mL bottle poured a pale copper color with small white head and virtually no lacing. Aroma is very mild maple. Taste is lightly sweet malts and maple and a mild hoppy finish. Nothing remarkable about this beer.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Barreras (411) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - AUG 27, 2011
Pours a bronze color with aroma of maple syrup. Taste is very light and not complex. This beer is mildly sweet where you can taste the maple syrup and possibly brown sugar throughout. Overall a decent not very complex light beer.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 gramity (601) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 9, 2011
Pours a fair brown colour, with a faint head that vanishes abruptly. Toffee caramel cream aromas with the same on first taste. Tangy carbonation, creamy and a soft smooth finish. Middle of the pack for this beer. I was not impressed.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 pumpmaster (856) - Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA - JUN 20, 2011
341ml bottle purchased at the Taproom store in Granville Island, Vancouver for $2.50CAD Very good.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Powertrip (844) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 2, 2011
Single bottle purchased from Zyn Liqour in Calgary, AB on April 15, 2011. Colour: Dark brown with hints of red and low quickly fading head. Nose: A slight metallic note, then settles into some cooked yeast, broccoli, light maple. Taste: Did I get an old bottle again? Light sweet, light sour, light bitter. Something slightly skunky....a flat profile that remains restricted and unrevealing right up until the finish, which finally opens up to maple and oak. Totally disapointing from taste on.
