2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 dfearnley (350) - Alberta, - SEP 1, 2012 341mL bottle to pint glass
Aroma of hay and slight maple and unfortunately a bit skunky. The appearance is a nice amber with a smooth medium off white head. The taste has a nice malt/hop balance but unfortunately the maple flavour is too light. The mouthfeel is smooth but thin.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 bulldogops (377) - Alberta, CANADA - JUN 16, 2013
Bottle. 5. Dark amber pour with a weak tan foam that recedes quickly to a ring. Aroma is nutty and sweet, presence of maple, toffee. Aroma is bold malt flavour, lightly hopped. Mouth feel is dry, mild carbonation, but crisp and satisfying. Little lingering stickiness of maple, caramel. Decent amber.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 patlab (15) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 7, 2013
Smooth cream ale that only has a barely noticeable hint of maple. If it wasn’t in the name of the beer, one wouldn’t know that it was a maple-flavoured offered. No strong aroma other than hints of caramel and no outstanding taste, but the creaminess of this beer makes up for this by offering a smooth, semi-sweet tasting beer.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 probstblueribbon (2418) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 24, 2013
341 ml bottle in a mixed pack from TBS, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. 01DE12.
App.: Clear copper with a fair, off-white head.
Aroma: Vague maltiness, caramel/toffee touches, a bit of brown sugar, a touch of maple, kinda watery and weak.
Palate: Medium-ish body, low-ish carbonation.
Flav.: Cardboard, grain/cereal, musty, wee hints of caramel and brown sugar, watery, bland.
Not much fun.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Metalchopz (1789) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 21, 2013
Nice, a Granville 12-bottle mixer pack at The Beer Store. Pours a clean copper colour with an off-white, creamy head, that has decent retention and cream-like lacing. Beautiful mildly sweet nose with the caramel malt and butterscotch notes and kind of nutty. The maple appears a bit more in the taste, but very well-balanced to not overpower the sweetness. Hints of apples with the smooth malts. Quite nice to have a cream ale with the maple (instead of the normal lagers or blonde ales). Feels more like a light maple nut brown.

Really not bad, though anything labled "maple cream" should be better than this. Only the lightest hints of maple and creaminess
2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Tessic (748) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 31, 2012
This ale poured a deep amber colour with a minimal head, white and spore like. Scents include cream, very light maple and caramel. First swig was smooth and watery with flavours of maple and caramel. Sweet on the palate. Finish is also sweet with maple on the palate.

bottle part of the mixed 12 pack from the beer store.
clear amber pour, small white head. aroma of cheap grins, and cereals, and some very sweet, bready malts. the maple is nowhere to be found. i think its just adding color. the finish is cloyingly sweet, and really nothing else.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 vadie (232) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 22, 2012
UPDATED: MAR 27, 2013 Ambrée pale, presque pas de mousse. Un goût de miel quand il se réchauffe un peu. C’est vraiment pas bonne trop froide. C’est ok.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Cirrhosis (1086) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 17, 2012
Review done right from the bottle because I feel to lazy to walk fifteen feet to the glasses. I think this looks like beer. Smells like the average Granville, pennies, nuts, malty toasted niceness, I do notice maple but only after some hard work. Soft carbonation, medium body, clean finish. Malty with noticeable maple, and a sock full of pennies. Nutty with a overall creamy taste. Easy drinking, nothing remarkable, I soddenly feel very bored but content.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Spab (1688) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 15, 2012
341 ml bottle from the Beer Store (part of Winter Mingler pack). Pours a clear dark amber colour with small off-white head. Aroma is toasty but slightly sweet caramel with nuts and a hint of maple. Flavour is also fairly toasty but with a gentle sweetness with caramel the most obvious taste but some nuttiness and a light maple also apparent. Body is reasonably creamy. Ok.
