COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A bronze-coloured ale that is brewed using traditional tettnang hops. We’ve taken a bold steep forward with this one and added a hint of pure Canadian maple syrup for a creamy taste that is smooth, not sweet.

Review done right from the bottle because I feel to lazy to walk fifteen feet to the glasses. I think this looks like beer. Smells like the average Granville, pennies, nuts, malty toasted niceness, I do notice maple but only after some hard work. Soft carbonation, medium body, clean finish. Malty with noticeable maple, and a sock full of pennies. Nutty with a overall creamy taste. Easy drinking, nothing remarkable, I soddenly feel very bored but content.

Bready caramel malts dominate off the top, followed by the maple syrup and burnt sugars. The maple syrup on the finish is fantastic, and it lingers nice and long on the tongue.

Bottle. Something off putting about this maple. Its aroma was correct, but it tasted of toffee, caramel and then the maple flavour was really weird. Not the best mouth feel either as the strange off maple flavour sticks to your tongue. I never found it to be smooth or sweet just unpleasant.

Bronze coloured with a creamy off-white head. The taste is malty with a subtle hint of maple syrup. A little sweet, but not unpleasant. The body is somewhat thin, and the hops are very mild tasting, imparting little bitterness. This rather caramel-ly ale has a uniquely Canadian ingredient, and was worth the experiment!

Bottle. Deep caramel with no real head. Creamy malt aroma. Flavor is deep creamy malt, dry chocolate base.

Clear medium copper, fading foamy off-white head. Sweet malt aroma and taste with a hint of maple syrup and not much else. Average carbonation, light body, low hopped. Not bad bit would prefer something different my girl friend enjoyed though.

Poured from bottle. Malty aroma. Unable to smell any maple. Copper aroma. Smooth drinking but ultimately lacking. Would not go out of my way to purchase again.

Smell is malt leaning with some light maple notes. Taste is smooth and balanced malt with maple sweetness in the background. Medium carbonation. Smooth and easy drinking. I enjoyed it.

Bottle. Aromas has some light maple syrup, toffee malts and a small amount of hops. Pretty tamed stuff. Nothing exciting. Another average Canadian beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
