On tap at the rooster. Copper with a beige head. Reminds me of creme brule both on the nose and the palate; very sweet, moderate carbonation and mild body. Not my thing at all.

Had one a year ago and did not like it. Gave it a second try and, while I wouldn’t drink it regularly, it surprised me. A bit Vanillaesque but a good enough seasonal beer

341 ml bottle, Calgary, AB, Canada via Coop. Medium amber brown. Thin head. Strong vanilla aroma, some chocolate as well. Sweet flavour, very faint bitterness with raisin. Not for me particularly.

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Nice dark amber pour into english pint glass. Clear body. Aroma of cheap spiced rum and vanilla extract. Tasting notes: Overpowering taste of cheap rum and vanilla. The closest comparison I can give this beer is pouring half a bottle of cheap spiced rum into a flat coors light. Upon first few sips this beer was immediately dumped down the sink. Stay away from this beer and others from GIB, terrible experience.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap. Dark amber pour, tan head. Medium carbonation. Very sweet aroma of vanilla, cocoa, Irish cream coffee. Pretty sweet throughout. Malty backbone. This is syrupy. Not complex or balanced.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2013 Really wish Coors would stop pushing this crap in Ontario. Chocolate & mint on the tongue (which is odd cuz the additive used in vanilla flavour). Rating stolen from Janice’s pint at paupers. She says its ok but only one, thank you. I say none.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear dark red in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas are of toasted malt, vanilla, and mild Christmas spices. Milk chocolate and vanilla dominate the palate, with some warming spices and a mild floral note providing balance. Medium bodied. Not typically a fan of this style of beer, but this one wasn’t too bad. Would be good as a lighter after dinner beer.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 21, 2014 330ml bottle into a pilsener glass. Pours a transparent garnet with a lasting fluffy white head. Nose of overpowering chocolate and vanilla, and the flavour is reminiscent of drinking a purified chocolate brownie. Definitely not a session beer (which I was, unfortunately, blindly treating it as upon first taste). Digestif only from here on out. Totally unexpected.
