Can, LCBO. Sweet vanilla aroma. Dark amber pour, foamy tan head. Taste - not bad. Lots of vanilla - a bit too much - but it goes well enough with the sweet caramel tasting base. Light bodied and well carbonated. A bit watery. Not bad, but too much vanilla to get much else. Lots of flavour though.

Copper appearance. Stale/sweet aroma. A vanilla bomb with a dash of cocoa. Picked this beer up in Toronto in the spring of 2013.

can. Pours reddish-purple, little head. Aroma is cream soda and cotton candy. Taste is as sweet as the aroma suggests. Not for me.

Pours a dark amber color with a small off white head that leaves some lace. Aroma of vanilla and sweet chocolate cocoa. Taste is much of the same tons of vanilla and chocate flavors, too overwhelming and too artificial.

Bottle: Poured a clear deep amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramelized sugar and light toffee notes with subtle fruity ester are quite interesting. Taste is also a great mix between some caramelized sugar and toffee while retaining a good balance of sweetness with some light subtle fruity ester. Body is about average with good carbonation. Easily drinkable winter warmer style beer with just enough complexity.

341 ml bottle in a mixed pack from TBS, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. 01DE12.

App.: Deep clear ruby mahogany with a decent light tan froth. Aroma: Intense milk chocolate and vanilla, so much vanilla, hints of dark dried fruit and rich deep malts, oh, and vanilla. Palate: Medium body, fine effervescence. Flav.: Chocolate and vanilla, a touch of other roasted malts, oddly weak and watery at the same time, too much vanilla; dry with minimal bitterness and a somewhat watery, vanilla-rich finish.

Too much vanilla and not enough of anything else.

473 mL can from the LCBO. I really wanted to like this beer more. The first thing you notice when you pour it, is the aroma of vanilla. On the palate is some hops but still a strong vanilla taste. Same with the finish. Not a bad pint, but not a beer that I would have more than one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Excellent winter beer that has a great aroma of vanilla and a taste reminiscent of mint chocolate. Wonderful flavour, aroma and taste. Great find.

500mL can. Pours clear with a rocky head and large bubbles. Aroma is of cherry cola and malt. Taste is of cedar and vanilla, and very malty. The carbonation is higher than it should be, and results in a light body that shouldn’t be the case for the style. Unique aroma and taste that are brought down by a lackluster body and finish.
