COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Burnt orange in colour, this ale is a reflection of autumn’s changing landscape. With its roasted pumpkin and spice flavours, this lightly hopped beer is full of flavour.

This beer wasn’t perfect, but was much better than I was expecting. Not incredibly full-bodied but not disparagingly thin, pretty good. Flavour is great, not vegetal, a little sweet but good balance with the spices and good pumpkin flavour without going overboard. Great malts, and a nice bit of hops to add some bitterness. Overall they do a way better job of balancing the "beer" aspect with the flavoured aspect of it than most flavoured beers do, making for a thoroughly enjoyable, if somewhat high on the novelty value, brew.

650ml brown bottle. Orange colour with deep gold highlights. Very full and creamy head, good lacing. Sweet clovely aroma, some nutmeg. Flavour is earthy pumpkin, toasty malt, a little vanilla sweetness in the finish. Toasty finish, just a bit of bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Very nice pumpkin ale, goes down very easy.

Clear light copper with a small off white head. Spicey pumpkin aroma, tastes of roasty pumpkin malts, ginger and cinnamon. Lightly hopped. Smooth and easy to drink, light bitter finish. Nice. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

650ml bottle poured a golden orange color with a finger of white head and some thin lacing on side of glass. Aroma is light fruit and hops. Taste is fruity pumpkin with mild spice and a dry hoppy bitter finish. The one thing I love about this beer is the subtlety of the pumpkin and spice. This is beer and does not taste like fruit juice like a lot of other fruit beers.

Single bottle purchased from a Liqour Store in Squamish, BC on 10/22/2011. Colour: Dark orange with light brown mix. Low head. Nose: Pumpkin is evident among a mixed bag of sprite, sweet corn and pepper. Taste: Medium-light sweet, light bitter, light sour. The malt is toasty and there is a thick grain note. The pumpkin doesn’t really appear till the finish.

A light hint of spice comes with this orange beer. Little hints are all that is left of the pumpkin, with a ginger that dances away from the tongue too soon. Nothing to chase you away here, but nothing to drag you back.

Very light in every aspect. light in colour, flavor and aroma. Overall very drinkable and a good introductory beer to pumpkin ales. Seems though they just added some pumpkin spice to a lager and called it a pumpkin ale.

Pours a nice clear dark oranges colour with a medium head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is mostly spice (nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon) and light pumpkin and the taste is much the same. Nice easy to drink most spice then pumpkin but still enjoyable. 6% alc that sneaks up on you but isn’t’ to noticeable in the flavours

SWEET!! Another ltd edition GIB. This time, an ever-achieving pumpkin ale. Off-white airy cap, vanishing after 17 seconds. Burnt orange colour. Metallic water "aroma" offset my a vague spiciness. Decent nutmeg with mild malt (sure, we’ll go with pumpkin) and "just the tip" of cinnamon. Unpleasant aftertaste. Just burped. If only I could remove my sadness following. Stick to your ginger, GIB, for a ltd edition.

Tried at the GI release party. Deep amber pour with a tight white head. The nose is lovely. Lots of spicy ginger, clove and cardamom. Rich toasted malt and a little bit of soft fruitiness. Slightly sweet but it’s quite restrained and not at all cloying or chewy. Well-attenuated and spicy with a nice backbone. The ginger is quite nice and is what I think makes this.

650mL bottle, pours dark orange with a small head. Light aroma of pumpkin, nutmeg and caramel malt. Flavour of pumpkin, sweet caramel and a little nutmeg. Not too bad.
