Pours a pale strawberry red with a lovely white head and a strong raspberry aroma. Plenty strong raspberry taste - less like the syrupy or tart raspberry puree and more like the vegetal raspberry taste. Sort of like Raspberries were added whole and rinsed in beer and then removed. Strong enough to be more than a hint, though (unlike the Phillips offering). Very creamy but low carbonation. Out of all the raspberry wheats I’ve tasted, this has got to take the cake. Not a style I like, but very good for the style.

pours clear pinkish-orange with minimal head, a plethora of fast-moving CO2 streams. Aromatic juicy raspberries on the nose. Starts of very promising with flavours of fresh raspberries, strawberries, jam, but ends abruptly with a water mid-palate and flat light malt finish. Low-medium complexity, low-medium depth, below average transitions, crappy carry, good drinkability. While drinkable and refreshing with an outdoor bbq’d meal, I can’t say it’s a good session beer.

GCBF 2010. Pale pink-tinted gold, so kind of orangeish in my little sample glass. Light and tart, with a nice balance between wheat and fresh, juicy raspberries. Hits the mark as a simple summer refresher.

Bubbly rose colored pour with a surging white head that falls pretty rapidly. Slightly tart and sweet raspberry soda nose. Grainy wheat flavor, disappointingly low on raspberry flavor, or much of any flavor. Quaffable stuff, but there’s nothing to it.

650mL bottle, pours pink with a small pink head. Aroma of raspberries, citrus and tartness. Flavour is really watery, with sour raspberries, too much citrus flavour and a sour / tart finish. Very poor.

Very, very watery. Garish pink colour, puffy head, hint of raspberry. Nothing special.

Intense pink colour, with a punch of fresh picked raspberries on the nose. Tastes completely naturally flavoured. A little watered down to be a true flavoured wheat beer, but the refreshing quality overwhelms the fault. Mild hop to it on the aftertaste. Great summer beer!

Draught sample at the taproom. Colour is pink with a rosy thin raspberry head. Small hint of raspberry in the aroma. Mouthfeel is medium. Flavour of real raspberry fruit rather than sugar / syrup; flavour is also fairly watery with a slight bit of green hops.

This thing poured a one-finger frothy head, mostly white but with a pinkish tinge above a well-carbonated hazy body, predominently copper in colour but again with the hints of pink. As for the head, there it was, gone. Aroma was certainly of raspberry and so was the taste. In fact, only raspberry and bugger all to suggest that this might be beer; at least sweetness was not at issue here. Mouthfeel was "average", and the aftertaste was a slight improvement over the initial taste but that isn’t saying much. I just do not like the way this one tastes; too bad as I really like raspberries and beer, too.

[1713-20080917] 650mL bottle. Raspberry "mild rhubarb" sweet perfume aroma. Slightly hazy, light amber pink body (odd) with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Light raspberry sweetness tang flavour has light wheat throughout. Light-medium body. Nicely made and tastes like beer here (as opposed to a cooler).
