Not a bad hefeweizen. Sweet wheaty taste. Nice fruity aroma, buttery palate. Pretty good.

341 ml bottle from The Beer Store. Pours a quite cloudy dull pale orange with small white head and some big bubbles. Aroma is fruity yeast, wheat and clove. Flavour is banana, pear, wheat and clove. Body is on the light side of medium. Pleasantly refreshing but nothing too special.

341ml brown bottle. Pale yellow colour with some cloudiness. Small white cap with good staying power. Fruity and yeasty nose, cloves and bananas. Taste has wheat malt, fruit notes of apple and banana, light yeast spice. Finishes wheaty and yeasty with a bit of lemony hop. Light in body and carbonation. Ok, but not exciting. A pale yellow with a bit of cloudy yeast in the body and a thick foamy white head. The head sustains for a long time and leaves some nice thick lacing rings. On the nose, there is a mildly spiced and fruity, yeast forward aroma with light esters and cloves, coriander, etc. The taste is light and sweet with an okay fruit taste and mild wheat malt. Overall, this is mostly a bland and average session hefe.

341mL bottle poured a slightly hazy golden yellow color with big white head settling quickly with little lacing left behind. Aromas of banana and cloves and yeast. Taste is fruity and malty sweet with some yeast and a mild hoppy finish. This is a decent wheat ale, but nothing like a good German wheat beer.

Bottle from Solo Liquor in St. Albert. 5%. Pours a clear golden yellow with no haziness to speak of. Bubbly white head dissipates quickly. Has the look of sparkling apple juice. Aroma is heavy on yeast, mild fruitiness (banana), very mild herbal note.. Taste is quite sweet, and doesn’t have the natural grainy tones of your typical hefeweisen. Sure doesnt look like a hefe, either. Not exciting.

Wheat, light spicy estery yeast - banana and clove mostly on the nose. Pours orange, hazy, thin head. The flavor is lightly spicy and sweet - banana, clove, vanilla with wheat notes throughout. Light bodied but decent mouthfeel. LIght sweetness.

Pours a golden yellow colour, almost orange with a creamy white head and fairly cloudy. Aroma is of herbs and spices, lots of banana, some citrus hops and fruit with a little vanilla. Taste is sweet throughout with a slight bitter undertone, quite nice. Light body, thin and smooth on the palate, lively carbonation and an abrupt finish. Overall a good hefeweizen and decent brew.

It pours a cloudy yellow color with a 1 finger white head that settles to a long lasting thin cap, but still not really a true hefe. On the nose I get some solid doses of wheat, lemon. The flavor is somewhat similar to the aroma but with some other elements. I get some wheat, citrus, clove. It tends to be a little out of sorts for my liking. There is some lemon there and it does seem to be want to steal the spotlight. I would hope it would finish with some clove but not so in this case. It finishes with a citrus bitterness that lingers around. All things said not a bad version of the style but nothing memorable either. I say get rid of the citrus and bring in the banana and clove combo.
