341 ml bottle - pours a clouded honey colored ale in the weizen glass - puffy 2 finger cap has moderate retention. Weak carbonation for the style. Aroma of biscuits, succulent fruit, ginger and some sweetness (very pleasant but short of the cloves & bubble gum we expect from a premium Bavarian hefeweizen). Nice waft of biscuit mats in front, fruity and very light hop presence - long, clean, slightly sweet finish...no after tastes. A good commercial Hefe by a national brewer but it misses the spritzy peppery bottle conditioned carbonation and dryness expected of the style. Not bad, but not good either.

Pours a nice cloudy yello with a decent sized white head. Aroma is a big blast of banana and very little clove. Tast eis much of the same. It almost seems like artificial banana flavor rather than truly from the yeast however it is still an enjoyable beer and a good one to get people into the Hefe style.

Poured from the tap. Cloudy yellow with nice white head. Very yeasty aroma with some citrus. Sweet bready taste. Quite light, little oily, little finish.

Pours a hazy light orange, frothy persisting head, beautiful banana aroma and flavor from the hefeweizen yeast. The body is somewhat lacking. Decent representation of the hefeweizen style.

Jaunâtre nuageux avec une mousse beige moyenne. L’arôme est légèrement fruitée, et le goût est de malt et houblon. C’est agréable, mais il est faible et manque plein de complexité pour le style.

Lacks the complexity of the best hefeweizens, though all the pieces are there.

On tap. I liked this more than most, it seems... maybe it’s just a style that works better fresh on tap. Much banana, less cloves, creamy. A nice refreshing sipper.

Pours a deep yellow with a low, dense white head. Aroma has a strong grainy nose, mild yeasty nose with just a very light hint of lemon. Flavor is overall pretty bland. The brew has a grainy presence too it but it also carries a modest amount of cheap macro corny flavor. The yeast flavors in this beer are almost non-existent. A very light watered down lemon flavor comes through late in the tasting. Body is modest with very low carbonation. Overall a very bland and boring beer. Not enough of anything to warrant a look in my opinion.

Pours a cloudy yellow-gold with huge white soapy head amounting to a thin covering and sticky lace. Smell is mostly banana with some wheat. Flavour is mostly sweet bananas and wheat. Seems Granville has nailed 1 of the characteristics of a Hefeweizen. Ok 2 if you count the bottom of the bottle... Wish i could have tried all your beers before the molson purchase to see if the quality was more closely taken into account.

On tap at Gourmet Food & Wine Expo. Poured a cloudy straw colour, lots of foamy white head. Typical hefeweissen banana aroma. Not much flavour, easy to drink.
