1A Pils!

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2014 Goldgelb, klar. Darunter mild-gerstiges, ganz zart süßliches helles Malz. Richtig langer, grasig-bitterer, leicht trockener Nachtrunk. Ein richtig gut gehopftes Pils! - This is a typical Franconian Pilsener, with a solid malty base and some initial malt sweetness. The use of hops is extraordinary, however: this is one of the most hoppy German Pilseners I tried so far, with a full onslaught of flowery, grassy noble hops and a pronounced bitterness in the finish. Well hopped and delicious.

Typical pilsner nose, more bitter than usual, nice carbonation, kinda sharp in the mouth. Quite good actually, I’d pick this over hundreds of other German pilsners.

Bottle. Light golden, small and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty – lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, light vegetable - herbal hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty – grainy and lightly sweetish flavor, light herbal hoppyness. Finish is average, malty – grainy and lightly sweetish, light vegetable - herbal hoppyness. Lightly sweetish pils with vegetable hoppyness - not very enjoyable.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
