50cl bottle, shared. Amber color with a steady white head. Earthy, grainy aroma. Flavor is grainy malt, yeast and some bread. Somewhat sweet finish.

Brass color, lazy bubbles. Freshly baked bread, straw, pleasant bitter hops. Fine nuances, long lingering hoppy tail. Recommended.

Bottle, MHD 19.11.2011. Nose is juicy citrus with a lemony bent and some great leafy/grassy tones. Beautiful look, a mix of copper and mahogany toward the top, supports a lacing and frothy rocky white head. Light-bodied, low sweetness and very low bitterness, with a nice resolution toward toasted bread crusts. Citrus still there in the middle with a touch of apple, faint caramel toward the back. Just enough hop bristle (and a hint a resin) to keep things interesting. Smooth with a light acidity. Cheers!

Bottle, had this as Huppendorfer Zwergla. Nose is sweet and lightly grassy with toffee and brown sugar. Copper-mahogany pour with a noisy eggshell head. Taste is sweet with caramel and faint fruit, light chocolate and nice waves of toast and nuts. Light body has a little condensed air and a little rubbery. Just a touch of butterscotch is nice here. Solid.

TEJA (1537) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 5, 2011
Draught at their brewpub. Almost no head. Light amber color. The aroma has mostly caramell malts. The taste is nice caramell malty with residual sweetness but to small bitterness to balance it. Easy to drink but to sweet to drink in any larger amounts.

2011-02-13, draught at Café Abseits, Bamberg, 7-3-8-3-15=35
Amber color; small creamy head. The aroma is light, but nice malt and delicate hop. The flavor is well malted, excellent, although dry; correct bitterness; the final is a bit weak, but sweetish. Interesting.

2010-05-19, bottle at Plan B, 5-3-5-2-11=26
Hazy blond color. The aroma is not very rich; there is hay, cereals, and just light good malt, very light honey. Simple flavor, weak, to much papery, dry but with saccharin sweetness. Low bitterness. Easy.

hopscotch (10075) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 30, 2011
Bottle… February in Franconia (2011)… Clear golden lager with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. The nose furnishes cereal grains and spicy, musky eastern European hops. Light to medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and active carbonation. The flavor is perfectly balanced and provides cereal grains, sourdough bread and spicy hops. Finishes crisp and fairly clean, but a touch grassy. Refreshing on a hot Florida day, but overall this one is basically a Franconian lawnmower beer. Carefully and cleanly brewed, but a lawnmower beer nonetheless. Thanks go out to erlangernick and Koelschtrinker for making this month of Franconian lagers possible!

Apparently not retired. On gravity cask at Churchkey on 10.11.2010. Pours a light golden color with a nice, thick white head and never ending lacing. Nose brought some nice pale malt along with some fresh, herbal hops. A bit of grass. Taste brought things together quite well, with the hop bitterness making itself more available than in the others I had at the event. Bready character was really nice, though it was a bit darker than some of the others. Quite tasty. Feel was light and refreshing. Very nice drinkability and perhaps the second-best keller that I’ve had. Serving type: cask Reviewed on: 10-13-2010

Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - OCT 20, 2010
Great fresh bread, cereal, sweet wheat/oat multigrain aroma. Quite a lot of herbs in the aroma, really fresh stuff. Bready flavor, sourdough, grassy flavor. Lacing sticks to the side of the glass, really sticks around. Medium brown color, lovely. Delicious fresh beer (best before Nov 2010).

Draught at Sandkerwa Festival in Bamberg. Glowing amber color. Slight caramel and earth aroma and flavor. Light, with decent fruit and light hops. Ok.
