Bottle share in Croydon, thanks to Leighton! Vibrant yellow, hazy, sparkling, big foamy white head, light lacing. Aroma is restrained bretty lemon, apricot, booze. Body is medium, slightly foamy, low carbonation. Importantly, there’s no acidic tooth-rot. Taste is lemon, grapefruit, dry straw, bretty. Very well rounded and smooth. Not blowing your head off, but just has a great balance to it.

Bottle thanks to Leighton at the Tropical Croydonia tasting. It pours cloudy gold with a thick, foamy white head. The nose is earthy, big funky notes, white wine, vanilla, wood, barnyard, must and some light peppery spice. The taste is crisp, tart, doughy, earthy brett, white wine, gooseberry, sherbet, whitecurrant, wood, funk, barnyard and light alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Well-rounded and quaffable funky number.

Tropical Croydonia Bottle Share. Thanks to Leighton. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy with moderate and very fine carbonation. Super light fluffy malts, mildly sweet. Modest brett before a medium white wine tang. Orangey citrus on the back end. Light finish. Tasty enough and goes down easy.

Bottle shared in London - sourced from the brewery. Pours unclear gold with a creamy white head. Lovely aroma, lots of peach, brett, melon, wood. Light sweet flavor with lemony tartness, woody dryness, some lemon rind, pale bread, funk, damp hay. Light bodied with average, lively carbonation. Super clean finish, bone dry, with light boozy warmth, more peach, lemon, rind. Great stuff overall. Very drinkable.

Bottle... Murky straw-colored pour with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma is a marriage of floral perfume and grainy bread dough. Medium-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and airy carbonation. The flavor is a surprisingly enjoyable combination of moderate bitterness and a light note of citric acidity. Crisp, snappy, lightly bitter finish. Bottle courtesy of landhoney!

The head is medium, body light and a bit cloudy. It smells hoppy, citrussy, lemongrass. The taste is intensive citrussy, lenongrassy, malty, wheat, fruity, sourish. Pretty good!

Glass. Little cloudy, golden yellow with medium white head. Medium citrus and straw aroma, also noticable very nice basement accents. Flavour is balanced between dry malt base with some woody accents and nearly medium bitterness. You can also taste some tropical fruits and saison-like accents. Light to medium body, smooth texture, average carbonation, finish is medium and dry, aftertaste is light bitter. Drinkability is high, very refreshing. In general really solid, drinkable and refreshing beer. Very balanced, where none of the element overpower others.
