3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle sent by Patrick, thanks! Pinkish copper, no head but lots of bubbles. Aroma of lime, light Brett. Flavour is lime and a herbal tea, no real Brett flavour, but really enjoyable. Acidic, but under carbonated.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to pailhead for sharing. Pinkish-orange pour with small head that fades to a thin ring. Aromas are lime, strawberries, flowers, and light brett. Barnyard is stronger in the taste than the aroma. Mixes well with limes, grain, oak, and flowers. Nice saison. Very easy to drink.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a pinkish orange gold pour with thin veil of white foam. Aroma is really citrsuy, lots of lime juice, light hibiscus notes, brett is pretty tame, lemony. Taste is tart, wheaty, very citrusy, zesty, hoppy and juicy flavors. Palate is light-med bodied with thin carbonation. Unfortunately a bit undercarbed, could be livelier. Still quite nice.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cheers Rich, shared 0.75 bottle: Batch 1, Sep 2013. Drank outside PoohDog on 17th Sep 2014.
Poured cloudy orange with a white head, citrus, apple and floral nose, the taste had more apple, lime, sourness and a yeast hint or two. Too sour for me, not my scene at all.

Serving: Bottle. It pours a slightly hazy light amber with a thin white head. The nose has light citrus, floral, oak, and a touch of funk. The flavor has a nice balance of citrus, earth, oak, and light florals with a dry, brett finish. Very enjoyable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The very subtle pop upon opening made me fear the worst, but the carbonation ended up being okay, if on the lower side of Grassroots Saisons. A white film lasted above the milky pinkish yellow cloud until I finished the whole bottle. Floral and citrusy nose and it’s funny to mention these words for something other than a Pale Ale, but it is what it is, though it is not all. Aromatically, it’s also fairly oaky with vanilla undertones and a earthy, mushroomy brett character that has certainly evolved in the last remains few months, but not to the point of becoming dominant. I find that bottle much better than the last one I had about 5 months ago and will leave what remains in my collection for a few more months expecting it to become more and more likeable as it gains in complexity through fading away from its initial lime and hibiscus lowly carbonated juice status. Here, the tart citrusy character fits the oakiness nicely and leafy white Pepper touches join in to add complementary touches à la Ceviche. Not as elegant and refined as other Grassroots offering, but certainly evolving toward that direction currently.
