Bottle, bought @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade. Pours deep red amber with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has lots of hibiscus, light tart, strawberries, wheat, oak. Medium carbonation, fine dry if kinda thin mouthfeel. Flavour has good tartness, funk, hibiscus, light apple, some white pepper. Elegant.

750ml bottle pours a light pink with off white head. Big lime and floral aromas, taste is exact same.

Smells very amazing. Incredible smell of lime and bretta. Lots of hibiscus light sour notes in mouth. Finish has almost no aftertaste though, with a significant come down on the aroma. Fizzy carbonation. Thanks to Travlr for sharing this bottle at Churchkey.

One of the more dissapointing offerings from Grassroots even though it was still quite good. Had this side by side with the amazing convivial suarez and this just didnt hold up. Very light aromas of citrus and floral. Taste is lightly funky and very mildly tart with grapefruit flesh and light floral flavors. Everything tastes a bit watered down.

Bottle (Batch 1, November 2013) shared at Churchkey. Thanks guys! Poured a good looking amber color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was light citrus notes, floral. Flavor was funky Brett, some citrus peel notes, floral and herbal. Pretty tasty.

Bottle at Churchkey. Hazy pink pour, small off-white head. Nose and flavor are very bright and pleasant, with floral undertones melding with citric funk, touches of hay, doughy yeast, and sweet grapefruit flesh. Quaffable and tasty, but not as complex as the best of either collaborator’s offerings.

Bottle. Pours a beautiful pale pink with pinkish head. Aroma is very floral, some grapefruit notes, some decent citrus hop presence. Flavors could be more expressive. Orange tartness and light citrus rind, flowers and hop bitterness. Light bodied and lightly carbed. This is not a complex and intense saison/wild ale like most Hill Farmstead and Grassroots saison but rather a highly drinkable straightforward summer beer.

I had high hopes for this one, and came away disappointed. The initial pour was pretty, grapefruit pink with a crisp head, but the effervescence totally disappeared within a minute or two. The nose had a bit of a barnyard sour smell to it, although notes of yeast and urine became apparent a the longer it say out. Taste was underwhelming, muddled tropical fruit, slightly bitter, and not particularly assertive. Meh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle thanks to alemax. Pours pink orange with rapidly diminishing white head, no lace. Aroma is funky, huge floral and sweet hibiscus, citrus, barnyard, oaky, and musty. Flavor is citrus up front, floral and brett, fading into a mildly tart, oaky, funky, big and sweet hibiscus finish. Moderate carbonation, medium-light body and lightly dry finish.
