Beautiful light pink color with a fizzy whit head. Looks like a rose champagne. The aroma is one of light funk and wood, with a nice floral backdrop. The flavor is very interesting. There is a slight initial tartness, but transitions to the oak and then with a soft floral finish. Never really had anything like this before.

Batch 1. November 2013. Cloudy pinkish orange amber. Small ring of white head. Aroma is champagne like. Hibiscus, lime, pink grapefruit, yeasty, mild to moderate Brett, very light funk. The Brett and fruitiness collaborate beautifully. Flavor follows. Lighter bodied with good carbonation. Elegant and beautiful.

750 ml caged and corked bottle, Batch #1, November 2013. Served in a tulip, the beer pours a hazy light pink/amber color with about a half inch off-white head that didn’t stick around for very long. Not much lacing. Aroma is fruity and floral, the brew smells like hibiscus, lime, white grapes, pink grapefruit and some funk. I think the taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there’s also some bready malt and a bit of green apple noticeable. It’s a lightly tart beer. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s a bit dry with moderate carbonation. I think it’s a nice, refreshing brew. $13.99 a bottle.

Nose is tangy fruit, peach, red wine vibes, light brett, spice. Taste comprises peach, pink grapefruit, citric sherbets, herbal tone, bretty pangs, straw, funky pangs. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light dryness to the close. Decent enough saison but doesn’t come close to the Suarez!

Pours hazy pink with orange and with golden hues. No kidding , pink. I have seen a beer like it that poured the color or rose wine. Noe is lovely. Pink grapefruit that is just sweet, brett that is just sour and has only a hint of the barnyard on it. Beautiful hibiscus flora and a crisp and cool lime. Malt i s soft and sweet what else would it be? Seems festive in a way because who expects a pink beer? Nose i s lovely with a bit of brett , sour and a little funk but not too much. Cool fresh lime and a touch of the flower petal from the hibiscus. Pink grapefruit that is just sweet and a bit earthy rounds out this lovely nose. Subtle but striking. Slight tartness or fruity acidic quality. Airy light and perfumey. taste is fresh cool lime, flowery petals of the hibiscus, pink grapefruit that is sweeter than you expected a light bread that is almost invisible except that it make s the mouthfeel. A bit of sour from the earthy funky yeast and to bring it home a bit of hops that don’t offer a bitter but remind you in a subtle way that they could have done that. I loved this darn delightful subtly sweet saison. Light on the palate and really well crafted
