2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
I had high hopes for this one, and came away disappointed. The initial pour was pretty, grapefruit pink with a crisp head, but the effervescence totally disappeared within a minute or two. The nose had a bit of a barnyard sour smell to it, although notes of yeast and urine became apparent a the longer it say out. Taste was underwhelming, muddled tropical fruit, slightly bitter, and not particularly assertive. Meh.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pinkish hue. Wonderful aroma and soft dry bretty flavor. The hibiscus and lime add an extra dimension to an already very good beer (seems like Arctic Saison is the base before the fruit and flowers were added). Floral and funky...dug it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A softly hazed, glowing body in the vermillion-tomato-bittersweet color range which reverberates with low intensity into a bright one inch, delicate, frothy head which settles to an incomplete ring with a few dots and globs of lace distributed over a low-lying horizontal peninsula of lace
Light, whimsical, earthy-tropical brett nuances float over glowing hibiscus lined with lime which circles back to emphasize the dank earth wild yeast influence on a compact, silky smooth medium-light body offering solid amounts of soft carbonation and a moderate coating of previously mentioned flavor dynamics spiraling through several cycles before completely fading

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate floral notes, light-moderate lime, funky brett notes, and oak. It pours a hazy (bordering on cloudy) pinkish-orange with a two finger pinkish-white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. There is some sporadic thin webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of citrus and fruit. He finish has light-moderate floral/hibiscus notes with light lime, oak, funk, and a touch of bretty sweet tart flavors. It’s light bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, this is very tasty and I could drink this all day.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours out a light rose/pinkish color with a small head. Aroma is funky, sweet floral notes, acidic lime, light earth and some wood. Taste is strange, but not in a bad way. Sweet floral tastes, lime juice, funky/tart yeast, some mild sweetness, earthy barrel, and some lingering tartness.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml bottle poured into tulip (bottled November 2013). Pours a nice "pinkish" golden with a finger-thick white head. Aromas are really peculiar on this one! Lime is there, hibiscus is definitely there (although more subdued than Dieu du Ciel’s Rosée d’Hibiscus we have here in Quebec), brett/barnyard is there but not too much. The malt profile is pretty hard for me to pickup though, but I do not find that it is a fault at all for this brew. Taste is far less sour than I would’ve thought! In fact it ain’t very acid at all, unless you let it warm un a bit. Body is quite light with a thin/watery texture. Carbo is average, and finish is a tad acid with some bretty "post-aromas". Overall, a pretty interesting experience!! This one I wouldn’t share...I would buy another one for my session partner! Speaking of session, I don’t necessarily think I would session on this, but at 6% abv it sure is a good starter!
