I had high hopes for this one, and came away disappointed. The initial pour was pretty, grapefruit pink with a crisp head, but the effervescence totally disappeared within a minute or two. The nose had a bit of a barnyard sour smell to it, although notes of yeast and urine became apparent a the longer it say out. Taste was underwhelming, muddled tropical fruit, slightly bitter, and not particularly assertive. Meh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very wet citrus orchard nose. M - light medium body, a little sweet and dry. A nice tartness. T - the taste follows the nose well. Citrusy, musty, floral, bretty (dusty vinyl bretts). 750ml bottle. The damb key broke off the wire while trying to twist it off. No worries rich had some pliers on him. Pours out a odd almost pinkish color. Nose is nice a great fruit mix very pleasant. Taste is mellow with more of the nice fruit notes. It was not over powering fruit just a great complement.

Bottle: Bright orange color, beaming light-copper & hazy with a quickly fading off-white head. Nice aroma of rose pedals, florals, grains, mild lime, funky Brett, wet hay, faint popcorn, & a touch of sweaty barnyard floor. Nice mix of fruitiness & weird funkiness. Tons of brettanomyces on the palate but not too overpowering. Woody, lots of oak with corky funk, cellar floor, floral notes (hibiscus, I assume), & a light citric note which might be the lime peaking through. Fresh graininess & a Brett filled, wood laden finish, hint of rustic grassiness. Super enjoyable saison.

25.4 oz bottle. Pretty pink with white frosting. Nose is lime, lemon, oak and hay barn. Medium body with crisp carb. Taste is lime yoghurt, creamy oak and parsley with hibiscus adding another delicate sour note. Rustic elegance; vinous without the acidity.

750ml bottle pours a hazy yellow with plenty of fluffy head. Nose has fruit, dusty couch, fruity, apricots, lime, mild tea, herbs. Flavor is tannic lemon tea, lime, honey, mildly floral, only lightly tart, some lychee lurking. Tannic finish. A bit underwhelming.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a hazy, reddish amber with an off-white head. Amazingly funky nose with a bery-like fruitiness underneath. Medium body, lively carbonation, yeasty, vitamins, lactic with a dry finish. Perhaps the nose promises a little more than the beer actually delivers. 010914
