Fruity bitter hoppy flavour. Fresh and delicious. A bit thin but definitely great LA brew.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 laiti (1689) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 6, 2012
Draught @ Gastropub Nordic. Rated on 19.03.2011
Aroma is hoppy, a bit straightforward and thin with some floral notes and fruits. Flavour is rather short and straightforward with lots of hops, some fruits and distant floral notes. The thin palate is no surprise here. Very good for this ABV, would work perfectly on a hot summer day.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Cunningham (1942) - Halden, NORWAY - NOV 10, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 6, 2012 On tap at Olympen, Oslo. Hazy yellow colour with a white head. Massive hop and grapefruit aroma. Also a massive, but well balanced, flavour of grapefruit, citrus and hops flavour. Unbelivable good and fresh, especially when it is only 2,7%.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (10421) - Como, ITALY - AUG 27, 2011
Handbottle, courtesy of Papsø Hazy golden color. Very nice hoppy aroma, fruity (more apricots here than in the fone50), and some piney resins. The body is even weaker and drier, with subtle toffee flavor and ending being just a hop juice. Refreshing but also too aggressive, and definitively too dry for me.
4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 BeerBiker (1412) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 11, 2011
[Tasted at Ørsted in november 2010.] Wow man. What a beer. At that low alc. it must be a must-brew for an athletic as me. I cannot stand much volume, and prefor beers like thisone. Great notes of citrus, herbs, floral, grass and all in heavy doses. Some of us thought it was 12 %. If possible I’ll brew it next time!
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Brandman (1067) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 1, 2011
Hazy yellow body, white head. Aroma of intense hops, grapefruit and citrus. Flavour adds little malt. Really nice to have low alcohol beer for a change.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 lusikka (2533) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 25, 2011
Tap @ Gastropub Nordic, Tampere.
Pours an unclear yellow colour with an extremely lacy white head. Aroma of strong grapefruit, peach and caramel. Flavour of grapefruit and very crispy hops with citrus notes. Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel and a smooth but crispy finish. Very good for such a low ABV brew.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 mjs (3000) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 13, 2011
(Draught at Pikkulintu) The beer poured hazy amber. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had citricness and black currant leaves. Palate was light bodied and dry with medim carbonation. Flavours were citricness, black currant leaves, mildly grain and quite intense bitterness. Aftertaste was light bodied. When the beer was cold was quite crips and nicely hoppy, The thin body and the lack of balance were negative things.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 FatPhil (6210) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 16, 2010
Draught (White Horse, Parsons Green, London)
7 Gloriously fruity aroma - peach, mango, mandarin in spades.
4 Hazy orange, tiny head
7 Certainly hoppy, all of the fruits from the aroma, but with some bitterness too to back that up.
3 Fairly thin palate, fizzy. Finish a little resiny from the long and tasty bitterness.
14 All in 2.7%, this is superb. Focussed enough that you can’t mistake the direction it’s pointing in. However, it stays within the bounds of common sense and tastefulness.
