(Draught@Pikkulintu, rated 2011-09-04) Very dark brown with a small, firm and creamy head. Salty licorice, sourish oatmeal, some tar. Flavor has tar, salty licorice, sweetish-caramely and lightly roasted malt. Medium body; maybe a bit thin, but ok for the ABV, and not too carbonated. A quite tasty porter, that could have had even more licorice, tar and body.

Ma che siete venuti a fà, alla spina. Bella porter brassata con cocco, non male il bilanciamento, anche al palato fa bella figura.

Cask Pub & Kitchen, post RBESG tasting. Opaque black beer, tiny white head. Light semi dry palate. Fresh dark malt but it’s a little papery. Dry finish with a trace of vanilla. Too much paper!

Draught at Nordic, Tampere. Almost black dark reddish brown color. Thick, sweet, oily and fruity coconut aroma with some rummy notes. Dryer taste with coconut, chocolate, charcoal and coffee. Dry roasty finish. Coconut works well here.

Aroma is typical to baltic porter with roastiness and liquorice. Very smooth palate, lots of slightly salty liquorice in the flavour, also hints of ash. Dry finish. Well done.

Keg at Craft. Black with a small beige head. As Petter said, ’tastes like Christmas’. Lovely aroma or liquourice, honey, spiced dried fruit, burnt sugar, and bit of bread. Quite an oaty taste and slightly oily in the mouth. Nice fizzy finish. Great stuff.
