Received as an extra from a trading partner on BA. Thanks a bunch Phil! Pours a cloudy light brown/nickel in color with a finger and a halfs worth of off-white head. Some light, gentle lacing as I drink. Nose is typical saison yeast, dry, grassy, and some very light tartness. I like the flavor a lot more than the nose. The flavor starts of light and airy, nice tartness, and then moves to some light malt typical in an amber. Light mouthfeel, moderate carbonation, light tartness, and a moderate finish. Nice saison, can definitely tell the hill farmstead influence here.

Pour is slightly hazed golden amber with a foamy white head. Nose has lots of farmhouse yeast notes with fruity esters. Some lemon and white grape skins. Hints of caramel malt play in faintly. Taste is a bit more sweet, farmhouse yeast up front, soft body, caramel and sweet esters. Fruity and lemony notes play in back with moderate carb and a semi dry finish. Stronger farmhouse notes come out as it warms giving a nice balance and depth.

hazy gold, thin white head. Tons of dusty hay, light plastics and wet earth. Soft carbonation allows hay and bark to coexist across front, mid dryer and grainier before citric and light plastic finish, sticky but thin and without enough balance.

Bottle @ GT’s Cat Cabana. Light amber color with a bit of haze and an off white head. Tart lime and lemon on the nose. Green apple, mushroom, and apple pie. Strong cinnamon, interestingly enough. Tastes of tart citrus, zest, and apple pie. Buttery baked apple, cinnamon, and lots of lime. Slight earthy funk of mushroom. Nice bready malt character, too. Solid.
